  1. Support payment integration eWay Australia

    Hi All,

    Authorize.net just released themselves on to Australia, and not only is it WAY too expensive, support is horrible. We use eWay Australia, and its recurring payments for our credit card processing here, and it would be super helpful to have it integrated with RS. They have a stellar API and sandbox environment and a lot of code repositories. Better still, its only around 300 a year to attach it to your IMF. Please vote this up so we have a reliable and cheaper option for card processing here in Australia.

  2. Auto-fill device type after IMEI is inserted

    There is a database for mobile phones, your competitors use it. It's a great time saver.
    After you scan or type cell phone IMEI number it finds you the model.
    Many of websites who buy used mobile phones have this integrated:

  3. Update Subject in New Ticket Comment

    When doing a new ticket comment it would be great to be able to add to the subject. I like to add notes after talking to the customer about who the repairs or going. Ideas of some things I would like to add are (new note, repair update note, etc.) or maybe add 2 or 3 items that we could customize to are needs.

  4. Allow parts ordered to be auto inserted into Estimates

    We know that when an invoice is created any parts ordered are "suggested" and tagged for the ticket.

    However we want the same thing to happen for estimates. The reason is because once we make the estimate an invoice (when the work is completed and or when the client pays) we have an automatic invoice sent via email if it is not paid.

    We’ve updated this so line items on an Estimate are transferred as ticket charges when you create a ticket. Does this speak to what you’re looking for?

  5. Import non-stocked items from estimates to parts tab

    We only keep a small number of parts on hand to help keep overhead costs low. Consequently, a lot of our parts are special order. Would there be a way to have non-stocked parts entries from an estimate automatically populate into the Parts tab once the estimate is marked approved?

    As it stands now, when the technician receives an approved estimate, he/she has to then hand enter the non-stocked parts from the estimate onto the parts tab. If they populated automatically, we could sometimes cut a whole day out of the repair timeline as this wouldn't be defendant on the…

  7. Asset Manager

    Could you please look at adding, or changing the Asset Name field, to auto generate an Asset number?
    Also can we modify what/how the asset label is printed out?
    We are wanting a way of uniquely identifying every asset without having to have a manual system of doing so (ie giving every device a name).     Would be nice to have access to the following tags to add to forms for "field appointments":
    Field appointment date and time
    Tech allocated to appointment
    site location (could be different from customer billing address)

  9. Integration with LogMeIn Rescue Remote Support Software

    LogMeIn Rescue is long standing Remote Support Software used by many companies both small and large. They have an API available here https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/helpdesk/integration/apis.aspx for integration. This would allow the data between LogMeIn Rescue to be synched into RepairShopr for quicker, easier management of clients. I think this would be a great addition to RepairShopr and in my case make it a completely fluent streamlined system.

  10. Require reason for not charging tax in customer profile

    I would love to require a reason for not collecting taxes from a customer in their profile. When another shop purchases an item from us we generally would not charge taxes if they have a sales tax certificate, I would like to indicate that as the reason for not collecting taxes and require their tax certificates and a means of indicating the expiration date.

    As a work around of course we try to remember to set them up as a tax free customer and use custom fields for the tax cert and expiration date but honestly many times we do…

  11. Add part orders to reminders

    As a one man army it would be handy if there was an option to turn on that when a part is added to order, it would create a reminder to order it for the customer. I regularly forget to check the parts screen so it would be useful to have this feature.

    We have the ability to send a reminder email when a parts order is placed to serve this purpose. Does that work for you?

  12. Estimates created from the ticket screen should use parts on the ticket

    When working on a ticket clicking the [Make Estimate] button should use the items already added to the ticket from the Add/View Charges section, much like the [Make Invoice] button does.

    Lets say a new ticket is created for a customer and is mostly for diagnostic work. Once the diagnosis is complete I'd like to present my customer with what we found and cost to repair, this is an estimate and have them review it. If the customer approves the work and accepts the estimate, once the work is completed we just convert the estimate to an invoice.

  13. Ability to sort drop down menus or at least have them alphabetised

    It would be nice if dropdown lists such as "Inventory Category", or ticket updates etc. could be auto-sorted into either alphabetised order or allow us a choice of say: A-B, B-A, Numerical, Importance etc etc.. currently, they only drop down in order that they have been created on the system admin, which means when you add new items,/categories etc. it can take ages to find the one you want

  14. Change list "types" to auto-fill drop downs

    Hey guys,

    I was originally making this suggestion to request the "referred by" field type be converted; but then realized there's several different lists and modules in RS that are using inferior, non-editable, databases.

    Specifically, the "referred by" field is hugely important information, as you all know. My list of ways-customers-are-acquired is ever-growing. As of now, I've tried to combine certain referred terms together to make it easier to figure out what we're looking for. However, this is proving more difficult.

  15. Trigger customer labels based upon fields entered at ticket creation

    When we book equipment into the workshop we always record if there was a power supply, a bag, software etc.

    It would be great if RS could print a label for each item that was recorded on the ticket.

    i.e.

    Customer books in laptop with power supply but no bag

    RS prints a customer label for the laptop and power supply - one is affixed to the laptop and the other to the power suply

    Customer books in a laptop with a bag plus a Software DVD, no power supply

    RS prints a label for the laptop, the bag and…

  16. Easier data entry of Custom Fields

    We would like easier data entry of Custom Fields if possible.

    Option 1 - Make it so you can change the data in the Additional Information box - specifically the custom fields data/ check/uncheckboxes straight from the ticket screen. Have button to "save changes" in Additional Information box.

    Option 2 - Keep as is, to change you must click on 'edit custom fields' but move the 'save' button from the bottom of the list to the window next to Cancel as users keep forgetting to press save as it is out of view at the bottom of the list.

    We would like the option to not show custom text fields such as Computer Password: on the ticket receipt, but still to allow it to print on Ticket (full) print/PDF.

    We hand the ticket receipt to the customer on job receipt, and print a full ticket to stick on the equipment and use as a paper copy (we always keep a paper copy and often work from it).

  19. Option to print/show on PDF for individual Custom fields including checkboxes

    Option to print/show on PDF for individual Custom fields including checkboxes. Eg. We like to print a Ticket Receipt and give it to the customer when they drop off a job to confirm what we have received from them.

    This includes custom fields such as Charger checkbox, laptop bag checkbox, other equipment text field.

    Checkboxes don't show up on a ticket receipt (I guess they would all show up if they did which wouldn't be good for us). Id like the option of showing only selected checkboxes on the ticket receipt.

  20. Add purchase orders to logistics

    Just something to add to the non-critical list. It would be great to have a more intuitive PO module. POs are actually logistics and should show on that screen too. Also, it would be nice to have a place to add tracking numbers and links. PO's should have a link to the vendor's profile. Basically, the whole vendor/PO system should have a make-over. They are related and should be re-built around each other and link to each other. When everything else is done, of course ;)

    A PO make-over is up soon once serialized inventory is live. Hope to include some of these aspects in that pass!
