Integration with GFI MAX Remote Management
I use GFI MAX Remote Management for almost all my customers. Since I'm mostly a one-man show for now, it helps greatly! Plus, with its Managed Online Backup, Antivirus, and Remote Access, its a awesome tool. They have their own ServiceDesk, but I need billing and CRM with you guys. They have an open API and it would be a kick-butt combo! Check it out... (WEB LINK REMOVED)
This is open to everyone now, not just beta users. Although I consider it an early version with more features to come!

I am having some issues with this integration.. I can validate the api token and get an existing list of customer mappings but I am unable to change or add new customers. Are there any restrictions over what accounts can edit and interact with this app? My account is a global admin.

Looks like this has been deserted for a while. I'm actually using NinjaRMM, but since there is no bulk import of assets I've been testing using MaxRMM as well just for the integration. I'd like to see the generated asset name as being configurable, either using just the machine name or machine+site name as others have suggested. Also, it looks like you are generating the Asset Serial Number on import while the actual serial number is brought in as a custom field. The problem is if I use the 'Search all of the things' box up top, it apparently is searching only the 'Asset Serial Number' values and not the custom field containing the actual serial number. I suppose if we get stickers deployed to all the units this won't be an issue, but I would like to have the option of searching by the actual serial number in the 'Search all of the things' box.

I second the vote for some sort of "site" support. Even simply restructuring the asset naming format from "Asset Name.Customer Name" to maybe "Asset Name.Site Name" or "Asset Name.Site Name.Customer Name"?
I use the same naming system across an entire company. WS01, WS02, etc. So if a client has more than one site, I'm going to have multiple "WS01.Customer" assets.
I see from the code that shows up in the GFI Alerts that the sitename is transmitted in the data stream from MAXfocus. (pretty sure the code showing is a glitch?!?)

Not sure how this works. I setup the sync, however i got alerts generated in GFI not going into RepairShopR. Not sure where they are suppose to even go

Robert, you and your team are AWESOME. This was the one feature that made us look into other software. Knowing that this is now coming has definitely cemented us here. Also, the fact that it only took 7 months (From PUBLIC idea proposal to partial implementation) is also awesome. Looking forward to once all the features have been implemented.

Any updates on this? As mentioned in April, we have looked at compatible CRMs based off of just this feature. The guys at Autotask keep calling me, but I keep saying ya'll have something in the works, and if it's implemented soon, there would be no need to change. So is there anything yet? Even a sneak peak? Thank ya'll for everything you do.

I'm currently evaluating RS and have been impressed so far with its features. We are a heavy user of GFI Max and integration with it would go a long way getting away from our current PSA (RS alternative). :)
