Just ran into this, definitely needed. We use the serial to track software license keys and you typically can't return software once you get the license key. So we need to be able to bill the customer beforehand to at least accept a deposit, if not the full payment before ordering.
YES! Would definitely like to see this. It is just math anyways :). In all seriousness though we have existing contracts out there with discounts that aren't whole percentages and we didn't catch this before going live in RS so please please please fix.

- Eg, is it with a cloud shipping service?
- Do you download a file which some desktop app is able to open to make a label?
- Please let us know in the comments how this could work in your situation so we can get an idea what is involved
I would be happy with basic functionality such as the ability to paste a tracking number into a field on the respective form (PO, Invoice, Ticket) for example and then have the system generate the correct link to the respective shipping vendor. So I pick UPS as the shipping company and paste the tracking number. This becomes available to click on in the system or via the customer portal and perhaps can even be included on PDF invoices.
Our plan with this is to build a few options to choose from, with minor things able to be enabled/disabled. These aren’t built in a technology that allows us to make an editor though.
It’s planned, but no estimated time we’ll actually work on it.
I would like to see the logo which is already on the ticket label to show on the asset label. Seems like a minor code tweak to make that happen.
We were prepping to start this and realized the narrow-scope version we were willing to commit to would just make most people upset that we “built it half way” – but we aren’t in a position to compete with docusign/etc and spend a year building a proper solution.
We could more easily help make a zapier/webmerge solution work if you wanted some automation, if we get a lot of feedback supporting that idea I’ll make it happen pretty quickly.

This seems like basic housekeeping and trivial to code. Would definitely like to see this.
As part of the revamp I would like to see quote revisions and the multiple template options for quotes. Sometimes I like to hide the part number or the discount column or do roll-up pricing (basically show one price like a bundle without having to actually create a bundle).
For IT Pros/MSPs you can now set override prices per customer via a contract. The rest of this might take a bit longer
Definitely need this feature. We offer discounts based on the service plan for hardware purchases and I don't want to be manually calculating this for every estimate.
