  2. Have input type search on Inventory Category drop-down field

    We sell items that are unique (some individually certified) but have characteristics that can be repeated in future inventory items.

    In order to optimise our inventory searches and reports it would prove much quicker to be able to type the category nodes into the drop-down menu (perhaps with some kind of auto-complete function to choose the correct sub-node).

    My shop got different work hours for weekdays and weekends.
    When a client creates an appointment on the widget, the business hours should be different for the weekends.

  6. Payment recieved by or invoice prepared by

    I would like to be able to know who made the invoice and who took the payment, perhaps a text box for the initials or operater name would be helpful. We are thankfully able to assign a tech for the repairs but I would find it useful to be able to track who made an invoice.

  7. Ability to set a specific tech to a specific client.

    We need the ability to set user X to see any and all tickets for client X. Currently there is no way to achieve this without allowing user X to see all tickets in the system.

  9. I solved a major issue regarding Star TSP100 Printer printing receipt text way too small and faded.

    This took me about 5 hours to figure out, because Repairshopr doesn't really have any support for printers.

    For whatever reason, the receipts that were coming out of my printer, were printing faded, small, and only filling up about 50% of the receipt width. I tried everything from reinstalling the printer, reinstalling through Google Cloud Print, Trying different drivers, messing with CUPS settings, calling support, pulling out my hair, throwing the printer across the room, and setting it on fire. None of these things helped.

    I thought it had something to do with my disclaimers, and sure enough it did.…

  10. Clients can set appointments on open tickets

    When a client sets a pickup appointment for their device it creates a new ticket in the system. It would be nice if they could put in their name and ticket number and then set an appt based on that. Not having to re-enter their contact information and starting a new ticket. Which then needs to be deleted/merged and half the time creates a duplicate customer.

  11. Special Orders

    For one time Special Order Parts there needs to be a way to either attach them on a PO or at least have a Vendor tab and the ability to sort them or better yet export them to excel. I have to order sometimes 10 to 15 parts for one ticket and that takes a lot of time to change the status of each one. At least a way to click them off and change them all at once would help tremendously..

  12. Multible tickets for dept so service calls and instore computers and be better orginized

    have the ability to add another tickets so separation of service call and computers in store working on i use the custom fields but it gets confusing

    We are using this in a Small Engine Repair Shop. ARI Part Smart is the industry standard for parts catalogs and diagrams for 100s of brands. They integrate with a number of POS software and the software is based around intergrations.

  20. Care of

    Add a "In Care of" section on invoices. One of my clients has clients of their own who we go out to, but have to bill in care of so-in-so. If there was another line when making invoices per customer, that'd be SO helpful.
