  1. Tool Bar NOT scroll with the page

    The tool bar with the icons for Customers, Tickets, Invoices, etc scrolls up, off of the screen as a form is filled in or a list is examined. To change to another section of RepairShopR, the user must scroll back up to the top of the page to get to the icons.

    If that tool bar were fixed so it does not scroll off of the screen, it would always be available fo th the next step.

  2. Enable FULL customisation of repairshopr by fully integrating custom fields by ID number.

    Currently the custom fields (for tickets) are a separate table that cannot be uniquely identified in PDF’s, Emails or other customer visible data. Unfortunately repairshopr only allows me to include ALL of the custom fields that are selected as visible, so I cannot fully customise the tickets, PDF’s or canned responses. You can go to Admin > Ticket Custom Fields and select which fields you'd like to be hidden from PDFs, but this on its own is not powerful enough.

    Quite often, I wish to use individual custom fields in a customer email, printable label or ticket update.

  3. Colour code vendors in inventory

    I use multiple vendors, so when I build a system for an estimate, it would be advantageous for me to be able to colour code the vendors so I can select the part from the correct vendor and get the whole system shipped as a single item (I build JIT and don't keep much inventory).

  4. TICKET(s) GETTING STALE DO THE DIAGNOSTIC

    I would like to see the customer name and/or the business name next to the clickable ticket number on the "ticket(s) getting stale e-mail. Example below:


    A friendly reminder, tickets need a diagnosis comment to update the workflow and change the status from pink.

    Make a ticket comment with the subject "Diagnosis" for these tickets.

    4201 - Customer reports system is running slow.

    Make it read:

    4201 - Mike Smith - Customer reports system is running slow. Or...
    4201 - Mike Smith - Mike's Custom Detailing - Customer reports system is running slow.

  5. Part Order Auto Add To Notes

    It would be awesome if logistics could automatically drop notes on the ticket for the part's shipping status, and have this automatically email out.

  6. Sales Detail Reports

    Could the Sales reports show ALL the sales details by INVOICE DATE and NOT PAID date?

    For example, when a payment (deposit) is received (often many days prior to the invoice date), it is not clear of where the sale details are being reported. Currently, the sale detail for a sale with a prior payment is not included on the report based on the invoice date.

    If the program is including the sale based on the payment (deposit) date, then all prior reports would have changed causing a domino affect to any reports that reports on sales, taxes, etc.

  7. Allow for the login screens to be more customizable beyond just adding our logo

    Would like to have the ability to make the login screen look and feel like our site... embed the code so to speak without all the excess.

    Currently looks very blah.

  10. Add a new 'ON Sale Price' option to inventory item price inputs

    I think it would be great if there was the ability to add an additional price to the current cost & retail price called 'On Sale Price' - or similar.
    This would be the price that the item would be reduced to if the check box (forgot to mention we'd need one of them to say when to activate the 'on sale price' was ticked so that instead of having to reprice every stock item that we are running a sale on, and then re-price them again on the system when the offer ends, we can simply click the on…

  11. Add a 'Copy to' button or option from ticket notes when invoicing.

    We find ourselves doing a lot of copy and paste back and forth from the ticket notes to invoices. Some customers want to see a diagnosis etc on the invoice itself. We usually include a description of work performed also which is conveniently in our notes updated by the techs. Having a 'copy to' option would eliminate the need to copy/paste back and forth.

  14. Add Canned Responses feature to "Invoice Email Custom Message"

    It would be awesome to allow canned responses for the "Custom Message" when sending Invoice emails.

    We use several different canned responses depending on the situation, and are having to cut and past from a notepad or program hotkeys on each computer.

    For example, on zero dollar follow-up invoices, we add "Thanks for checking in! There is no charge for today's session, as it falls within our 30 day follow-up guarantee. Thank you for choosing... etc"

    Or "You indicated you wanted to review the invoice and mail in a cheque. Please pay from the attached invoice. You can also use…

  15. Prepay Hours Invoices

    is it possible to make Prepay hours not show up on a customer's account until after they have paid the invoice for the hours. At the moment prePay hours show up the second the invoice is sent, not after it has been paid.

  16. Purchase order cross reference

    There should/could be a button or option on the purchase order to 'add all low stock items that are not already on another purchase order'.

    It would be helpful as I could quickly order additional required stock from a vendor before they dispatch my current order.

  19. Create a Facebook support group

    Please create a Facebook support group that could be at least monitored among the RS staff. Jimdo did this and it is great! They still have normal support but for quick questions its very fast. The big benefit is other users will answer questions also so its a win-win. Your customers get tips and answers from multiple users as well as your support staff in a much quicker manner and your support staff can share the answering of questions and have the (free)help of the RepairShopr community. Check out Jimdo's, I've personally used it and it's been great!

  20. Integrate with HomeAdvisor & Thumbtack

    Add ability for system to automatically book/accept leads from HomeAdvisor & Thumbtack lead services. When a lead is accepted/received process the lead into the system as a 'new lead/contact' with the information submitted to the lead system.
