Different prices for serialized items
We sell used phones and used games. Prices vary depending on condition. We would like to have the price attached to the serial number instead of the barcode. That way we can track sales of one device like an iphone 5c- green but have different prices based on the serial number. The barcode could be the serial number proceeded by SC or something similar to avoid coinciding UPCs with those numbers.

This does not work properly. I can set up serialized items and override prices. When those serialized items with overriden prices are added to tickets, even when the serial number is selected with the override price, the default price remains.

Okay, now I see. So even though the repair price for the SKU is say $50, if we set the override for one of the serial numbers, when it is applied to the invoice it will be applied at the override price?

@curtis - not sure if you missed something, does your product page have a retail override column on each serial? see demo video http://g.recordit.co/sOALWPNFiQ.gif

Uh...???
Am I missing something?
This suggestion is not completed at all.
He is asking for different retail pricing. Not cost pricing. -

I think this is completed now, right? It was a back-end adjustment and I'm seeing FIFO pricing for inventory items. Not sure about serialized items though... -

Quick thought - Use the Serial(productID) as the product name, and use the actual product as the description. Many places use product ID's as a primary, and in your case that would be the Serial you referenced.
