Ring Central Integration
I think it would be awesome to somehow integrate with Ring Central allowing calls from customers to be documented on their online profile. I know I have had a few clients claim we didn't call them, or vice versa. All of our calls are recorded as well, so I think it would be cool to have all of the conversations uploaded to the account.
Currently, I have to manually login to my Ring Central dashboard, look for the customers phone number, and find logs that way. I think there's alot that can come from an integration.
You can use Zapier to integrate at this point.
You can see example ideas at the bottom of this page: https://zapier.com/zapbook/repairshopr/ringcentral/
We will have some pre-made zaps coming shortly.
One example would be using the ringcentral triggers to fire a webhook GET request to the callerid api in RepairShopr. Then it would behave exactly like our other PBX integrations.
Example coming soon!

Quick update - we have a pre-made Zap ready to test, it would be great if a ringcentral user could try this for me: https://zapier.com/app/min/12452/start
Also about the emails - you should try making it so voicemails just get sent to your lead email, as long as you don't add the ringcentral email as a customer - the phone should automatically match existing customers. If some want to get a few examples and let me know if that doesn't work I'd be happy to make it work!

I can add that my deep profound wish would be to grab new voicemails and turn them into leads - So, if there is a number that can be matched to a client, then that client will be matched to the lead, and, perhaps most critically, the voicemail gets added as an attachment. This way, when someone leaves a voicemail, we can process it and assign it to people in the organization without losing track. I'm not seeing a way to do through Zapier right now, am I missing it? I do see that I can make a new lead (awesome!) but the number doesn't get matched to a client name (bummer, but oh well), and the voicemail doesn't get attached. That's the part I'd truly love!

@Troy- I'd love to know as well. It would be great to be able to log Answered Calls, Missed Calls, SMS, and Voicemails in the communication log.

@Troy- Can we do your example based on RingCentral's current triggers? Not seeing one for incoming call... or would we have to use call ended?

Hi Troy! I see that there are some pre-made zaps, but are there instructions on using RC to add something into the "communication" section? (I think that's what it's called...)

We have an IP phone system at our store. We are definitely willing to switch to any other IP phone provider if it integrates with RepairShopr. Look forward to any updates. Thanks.

Can we fundraise you having a trial account? RingCentral has become our primary phone system, so a ticket integration would be mind-blowingly helpful.

Maybe SendHub or MightyCall could be integrated to fill this void.
SendHub as a cloudPBX and Mightycall as a contact magnet for Facebook, voice mails, website contact clicks, etc.
With MightyCall you can search for a contact's messages and make notes to calls you have made, making notes on calls answered or not.
