  1. Zipwhip intergration

    Our company uses ZipWhip which allows us to send and receive text messages on the same number as our landline... this works great because customer's only have to save/remember one phone number and they won't get confused on which number is for calling and which is for texting. I wish repairshopr would have this same feature or integrate Zipwhip in like it does for email messages.

    It seems you have to be on a very high pricing plan to get API access. Do either of you have API access currently?

  2. Customizable Subscription templates

    We have some services that are billed automatically. We would like to have the terms and features of those services be sent out automatically with the invoice. So we would like a separate (or maybe multiple separate) templates that can be used for recurring invoice templates. This needs additional information that doesn't typically appear on an invoice, and would probably be a bit much for a line item.

    This would probably work out great for businesses that are selling VOIP plans, backup plans, etc.

    Could you try putting those details in “Customer Custom Fields” – there should be a tag for that to go into your invoice template.

    This might be a workaround that gets you pretty close..

  3. Allow common/favorite parts to be saved in Parts section

    It would be very helpful to be able to store information for parts we need to order all the time and generally do not keep in stock. For example, when creating a Part Order for a ticket, it would be great to be able to either manually type in the part information (as you can now) and select from a drop down menu of common parts. Kind of like the Inventory section, but instead of saving info for parts you have in stock, simply bookmarking/earmarking common part info to be used repeatedly when creating Part Orders.

  4. Ticket title on the dashboard description

    It would be very helpful to have the ticket title apart of the dashboard short description. (Email isn't helpful at a glance if space needs to be made)

  5. partner with a developer that allows you to check the status of a device when entering the device IMEI/MEID when purchasing a device.

    When purchashing a device from the product, we enter a unique ID such as the IMEI or MEID. There should be a way to check the device to see if it is blacklisted, reported stolen, or locked to a network. Also, after purchasing a device from someone, if the device comes back as stolen or black listed, we should be able to block that customer from selling devices to our store again.

  6. Being able to Verify Returning Customer Information on the New Ticket like you guys have it on New Check-In

    You guys need to allow us to verify Returning customer information to make sure it's up to date when clicking on the NEW TICKET button, the same way you guys have it on the NEW CHECK-IN button. It allows us to make sure the information on the NEW TICKET is gonna have updated info without having to take extra time and go to the customer tab first.

  7. Filter by Time options for invoices and tickets

    Within the Tickets tab or Invoices tab, it would be great to have the ability to filter by time for tickets and invoices. For example, on the tickets tab we might have 2 or 3 pages of tickets and to see what has come in today, we have to arrow over to page 3. It would be great to have the ability to filter for "today" or "Yesterday" or "Last week" or "This Month", etc.

  8. Column for "Tech Paid" on Invoices

    Like many repair shops, some of our techs are paid as subcontractors. As such, they get paid on billable work - though not necessarily on PAID billable work (billing is the company's responsibility, not the subcontractors). We pay subcontractors every 2 weeks on what they billed, not on what they collected payment for.

    The problem is - we can't tell which invoices have been "paid out" to the subcontractor vs which ones still need to be paid out to them. The "took payment" option is for techs to keep track of payments made, and the "paid" option is for admins…

  10. Add a Mail or Response Icon to Leads

    I would like a mail icon in the leads module that would alert us to a reply to our email sent from leads.

    Currently, when we receive a lead from our website, an email is sent to us after the lead is passed on to your API. Recently we have started using your mail feature in leads, so that there is a record of our response to a lead. The problem arises when a customer responds to that email, there is no way of knowing. Neither Justin, nor I receive an email, and there is no indication in the leads…

  11. Sales/Service Metrics Dashboard

    A Live Dashboard that shows the techs total tickets, sales, invoices month to date. Monthly Totals, Top Services, Top Producers, Who tickets are assigned too, Schedule, Etc. would be very nice to have. I currently produce an excel sheet thats viewed on a 42" Monitor in the service department but its not live.

  12. ...integrate with Boxoh's API for showing/monitoring packages

    Boxoh is a great way to track packages easily and effectively. Plus, they have a public API you can use (provided you have a key). Perhaps that's something you guys could integrate? Maybe automatically marking a part as arrived when Boxoh says the package is in?

  13. Allow the Other field to be editable for Phone numbers

    We have customers who give us numbers for other members of their family. It would be nice to be able to label the phone numbers in a more detailed manner. For instance: instead of just having 2x numbers labeled as mobile and not knowing if its husband or wife you could label the numbers "wife mobile" or "husband mobile". allowing the other field to be edited would allow for that.

  14. Blank default Tech and only Tech can be assigned to Tickets

    I would like that the default value of the field Tech
    when creating a new Ticket is a blank value, and that only technicians can be assigned to a ticket.
    I have 2 Security Groups. Techicians and Vendedores (sales staff that only check-in tickets and creates customers).
    The problem right now is that the Tickets are assigned to a sales person.
    The solution is that by default, there are not Tech assigned
    when creating a ticket and then, when a Tech pick a ticket and assign it to them self.

  16. Allow non admin users to see the Change History of a Ticket

    It would we great to allow non admin users to view the Change History of a Ticket. It could be a permition in the Security Groups Manager.

    This is important to us, because sometimes a tech has to ask the seller who has created the ticket something about the ticket or the customer.

  17. Service descriptions

    When using the device wizard widget the costumer does not get any information about price, estimated time usage or any information at all.

    Why not take this software a step up and include servicedescription pages?

    When you choose your device in the wizard you would get redirected to a servicepage for "iPhone 5s" where all the available services is listed with descriptions and prices. And make the wizard able to take bookings on specific time and date.

  18. Make ticket updates/notes easier to read

    My technicians are having trouble reading ticket updates when more than one of them works on a computer. It would really help if ticket notes were put into sections such as a section solely for customer contacts, diagnostics, solutions, etc.

    It would really make the ticket easier and faster to look through and know what is going on or what has already happened. It is hard even for myself when I go to look over things in our service center and have to read through a big jumble of different things to find what I am looking for.

  19. Barcode queue

    Being able to print a large queue of inventory labels would be an excellent addition. Whether through a 'Receive Inventory' queue that adds items and gives the option to add items to be labeled, or the option to trigger printed labels with quantity changes, it would streamline things quite a bit!

  20. asset field type include hyperlink

    Include hyperlink in asset field type. It currently only supports Textbox, checkbox, dropdown, and datefield. If we could include a hyperlink i can use the website to open our other software with a link directly to the asset in question.
