  1. Automated Payment Confirmation

    Hello!

    I was wondering of it would be possible to automatically send a payment confirmation email to clients after a payment has been posted to an invoice. I have several clients who mail cheques / pay by electronic transfer, and it would be great if I didn't have to manually resend another copy of the invoice to show the client their payment has been successfully taken.

    Hi Team,

    This request may be a bit out of scope but wanted to see if any potential suggestions could be given on how we can approach this. As a single technician under the "One Man Army" plan has been great for me at the current price since it matches our volume coming in.   3. Add a checkbox to say yes or no to charging VAT

    Some companies will not be VAT registered and so don't need to show VAT on invoices.

    The recent change to have VAT settings hard coded into receipts makes for me our stationary look terrible.

    I used to be able to choose an invoice template without VAT but since recent changes they are hard coded into the template and can't be removed.

    What would be good is a checkbox in setup, are you VAT Registered? if it's not ticked then all tax options are turned off and a different invoice template is used without the VAT amounts, click the box and…

  4. Apply Full Amount option when paying multiple invoices

    When making a payment, a list of all open invoices is shown with an "Amount to Apply" box next to each one.

    There should be a button to "Apply full amount" to a given invoice, and also an option to apply the full amount to all invoices.

    This will save a lot of time when a client writes one check that covers all of their open invoices. Right now you have to either copy and paste the "invoice balance due" into the "amount to apply" box, or type it out.

    Add ability to enter custom ticket codes such as "failed to repair" that will still math the ticket "resolved".

  8. Add export in Google format button

    Ads the ability to export the customer database in th mapping that is accepted by Google contacts. This would be a great work around versus programming directly to the Google api and would save time when attempting to move contact information from RS to Google contacts.

  10. Give relevant customer info in ticket screen

    It would be great to have some more relevant info in the ticket screen, or even ticket creation screen.

    1) Other open tickets from the same customer.
    2) Recent closed tickets from the same customer
    3) Open invoices from that customer (possibly with an alert if they are aged)

    Sometimes techs open a ticket for a customer and start helping but probably shouldn't if the customer is being bad about paying for past support.

    You can provide better support if you have a snapshot look at the most recent support issues as well. Maybe there's a pattern, maybe the customer…

  11. Allow us to hide "Pending total value" and "project value" from the top of Contract Manager for non admin users.

    One thing about contract manager I noticed is that there isn't anyway to hide the "Pending total value" and "projected value" of the contracts in contract manager for non admin users. They either have access to contract manager, or they don't.

    Is it possible to move this spot of contract manager into Admin so its not easily viewable by every tech? (or alternatively, allow a way to turn this off for non admin users). I don't like the idea of my regular techs being able to easily see exactly how much recurring money we are bringing in every month.

  12. Physical Inventory Function for Bulk Posting

    During a full physical inventory, it would be helpful to lock/suspend inventory quantities during the process. Perhaps a "special Physcial Inventory function" that would lock the inventory quantities and cost values for a particular date/time to allow for bulk adjustments to qty and costs for regular physical inventories?

    The special Physical Inventory Function would allow the inventory to be adjusted as of a fixed date/time in the past. After adjustments are complete the special function would integrate revised inventory data back into the inventory records as of the date of the special function.   15. Customer Ownership

    We have an IT director for each of our clients. This basically means that the technician or account manager is directly responsible for everything that has to do with that account. It would be great to set an owner to each customer record. This way you can build in notifications for customers that you own. ie Ticket created by a customer I own, notify me. Right now the only other viable option is to set a notification for ALL tickets that are created, which can get pretty spammy the busier things get.

  17. Allow us to set a default ticket priority by customer

    It would be nice if we had a setting in the customer itself to have all tickets opened for them to have a default priority (I.E. customers on a service contract, or other important clients are defaulted to priority 1, all others default to normal, or maybe even default to slow for some bad clients who are terrible at paying).

  18. Force Customer Updates

    Enable an option to ensure customers information is updated at a new ticket or check in. if the customer has not been in the store in a while. I am always running into the issue where the employeed forget or are just lazy to update email, phone etc....

  19. make it possible to rearrange the sections on the Customer record

    We've got a number of staff logging tickets & we're trying to get them to do this via the Customer record so they can see previous tickets and avoid booking duplicates. But the Tickets section is quite a ways down the screen - it'd be nice if we could arrange the layout to suit our personal preferences.
