Mobile Barcode or App.
Being that a lot of us in the shop use iPhone's or iPad's; having a mobile barcode option to quickly pull up a client would be very handy. I'm not sure if this can be done via the mobile version of the site or not but also an App (even if just tied to the mobile version website) would be awesome!

Import non-stocked items from estimates to parts tab
We only keep a small number of parts on hand to help keep overhead costs low. Consequently, a lot of our parts are special order. Would there be a way to have non-stocked parts entries from an estimate automatically populate into the Parts tab once the estimate is marked approved?
As it stands now, when the technician receives an approved estimate, he/she has to then hand enter the non-stocked parts from the estimate onto the parts tab. If they populated automatically, we could sometimes cut a whole day out of the repair timeline as this wouldn't be defendant on the…

Move Parts into Inventory upon successful delivery
It would be great to add those 'one-time' Part orders into Inventory. We have had numerous one-time Part orders that haven't gone through to repair (customer cancelled, etc.) and we are left with a Part - but it doesn't show up in Inventory and allow to assign to new tickets.

Low Inventory Report/Email
We have multiple locations and the low inventory report sends an email which includes all low inventory items regardless of location.
So can I suggest that the low inventory report is location specific? It would also be useful to get this report send to different email address per location. So Location 1 low stock report goes to location1@ and location 2 low stock to location2@.
Another problem we have is items that we only sell once i.e refurbished laptops etc they all show up on this report but we're never going to re-order this item. Is there a way to…

Customer Purchases Custom Fields
It would be great if the Customer Purchases included custom fields options like the tickets do. We really want to use this feature but need to ensure our employees are able to collect certain information regarding the purchase.

Add charges overview to Ticket print out.
We like to provide paper work with a job when it's collected, but currently we are having to print off multiple sheets of paper to ensure has details of the jobs notes and invoice details.
Would it be possible to add the charges applied to a ticket to the print out template so everything could be included in one print?
Many thanks.

Password Log under Customer Detail
It would be nice to track generic logins passwords, such as those for webhosting, etc.. under the customer's detail page. Also this would need to tie into the granular permissions so that only certain individuals would have access to it. Additional wishlist items in relation to this would be the customer could submit logins to this "Password Vault" from the customer portal without actually retaining any visibility or access to the vault. (Or maybe the submission could just forward into the leads page with some generic text such as: Customer <blank> just submitted a login for review.

Auto-save in fields after entry
I know there's a save button on a number of fields, but I can't tell you how many times I've lost information I've typed, especially on the invoice section. I'm so used to say, QB Online or other platforms where you just tab over and the field auto saves.
For instance, in the invoice description, when you tab over afterward, then you change qty or price, it's be nice if it auto-commits whatever information has been entered before calculating. Even, for a start, if just prior to recalculating, it committed whatever was in the description, would make our lives much…

Customizable Templates
It would be nice if we could create custom templates using the foundation already in place with the invoice template features. I am thinking along the lines of custom letters, proposals, etc using the same tags already being used on the invoice templates. We often send letters to customers or potential customers introducing ourselves. It would be nice if we could create a template for that type of thing using the tags already in repairshopr so that it automatically populate name and address information. Maybe even create a tag for ticket or asset name so we could refer to that…

Estimates created from the ticket screen should use parts on the ticket
When working on a ticket clicking the [Make Estimate] button should use the items already added to the ticket from the Add/View Charges section, much like the [Make Invoice] button does.
Lets say a new ticket is created for a customer and is mostly for diagnostic work. Once the diagnosis is complete I'd like to present my customer with what we found and cost to repair, this is an estimate and have them review it. If the customer approves the work and accepts the estimate, once the work is completed we just convert the estimate to an invoice.

Auto-fill device type after IMEI is inserted
There is a database for mobile phones, your competitors use it. It's a great time saver.
After you scan or type cell phone IMEI number it finds you the model.
Many of websites who buy used mobile phones have this integrated:
http://www.fonebank.com/sell_mobile_phones_cash.aspx
http://www.mazumamobile.com/sell_mobile_phones.phpSome sites that check if your iPhone is locked give you even more information based on your Apple IMEI:

Customer purchase order # on Ticket
It would really help if we could enter the customer purchase order # on the ticket and not just the invoice.

Client Portal - add "Hide Invoice" for better client portal filtering
This is hopefully simple...
Add a hide invoice button to the client portal "open ticket" area...
Also... it'd be great to not have a 20 ticket limit in this area. Maybe add pages to this...
Right now, our larger clients are having a VERY DIFFICULT time using the portal due to these limitations.
Thanks

Allow the option to search by Physical Location (i.e. Bin #) in the inventory page
It would help if we could look up a bin # and find out all of the inventory that should be in that bin. Then if we type in P1 for example, it would show us everything that should be in P1. This would help a lot with my inventory system. Or the best thing may be to add an advanced search to inventory, and then we can search just that field.

Enable signatures on Windows tablets without requiring the individual signature pads
We already have the Topaz signature pad for our office POS, but I haven't been able to find a way that we can make it so the desktop version of the software doesn't ask for the plugin to the pad on other PC's.

Customer Purchase Price Generation
It would be fantastic to have a system where my employees can simply click options of the device and condition and it can spit out a price. Something exactly like gazelle offers. Then we can control it on the back end, by adding options and the prices that come out. It wouldn't have to be fancy, but would really help us out.

Time clock CSV download
I would like to be able to download the time clock data to a CSV file so I can see the notes and the hours in a spreadsheet and sort them.
The reason is that I have two different pay rates based on the type of work, and currently I have to manually add up the hours for each type.
Thanks!
