Do not Generate $0 Recurring Invoices
I have some blank recurring invoices that I use to invoice any time not billed to customers on tickets. Some months I do not have any time to bill a customer, but the recurring invoice sends them a $0 invoice that I have to explain to ignore and then I have to delete or "pay" to get it to not bug the customer of an open invoice.
A simple check of if invoice total is equal to $0, do not generate for that recurring period.19 votesWe made changes to the system recently that will make all new Recurring Invoices not generate $0 dollar invoices by default. There is a toggle in the Recurring Template now that can make it so blank invoices would generate if you wanted.

Instant In-App CID Alert Notifications for current Incoming Calls
Mentioned in a previous topic, this was outside of the scope of the initial feedback request, so I wanted to put it in its own topic to hopefully get voted and approved. See existing topic here:

Searchable Wiki
It would be helpful for the search bar at the top of all pages could also search through Internal Wiki articles. WE're starting to build a sizable wiki and being able to search "0x0000870D" for example, could take us right to the page explaining that particular BSOD error.
It's not a significant thing to worry about, but it would be a nice little addition to your already impressive software suite.

Single-Use Checklist on Ticket
The new[ish] ticket worksheets are great. However, there are a lot of times when I want to add a quick checklist on a ticket that won't be reused again. Being able to create a checklist in a single ticket would be great. Being able to do more than just checkboxes would be nice, but even just checkboxes would be fine.

Twilio Integration
Just like you have Flowroute, best allow Twilio platform as well. Also, since you already have the basic level platform SMS sending from Twilio can you allow us to insert our own phone number from Twilio? This reduces your cost and allows us to keep our branded numbers in use.
This would allow us to maintain analytics fully again also!

When we do water damage repairs, being able to send pictures of the device to customers via email would be really cool.

Let us change language on all customer prints
I would like to be able to change all the templates that the customer end up seeing. Especially the ticket receipt.

Add Employee Clocked In/Out Notification
It would be nice to get notification each time an employee clocks in or out. That way we know exactly when our employees are available to work when we are not in the office

Allow disabled items to be sorted/searchable
When trying to track down a catalog item that I disabled, the only option to find it is to look at the full list of ALL disabled items. As soon as I try to sort them by type, or search for something, it goes back to showing only currently active items. We have 40+ pages of disabled items, so to sort through all of that to find the one item I'm looking for is not something I'm super excited about doing.

Enable an API
If customers want to book a repair via our website, it would be great if we had the ability to pass these details straight to Repairshopr so that new tickets (and maybe invoices) were created automatically.
Even better still, would be the ability for this to happen; and our customers to be able to print the job sheet, so that we can identify the machine once we receive it.

Allow multi-techs
Allow multiple techs to be assigned to a ticket. (We have a lot of tickets that 2 or more techs are assigned to, but only 1 person can receive a ticket status notification at a time.)

Better Refund
I would like to see a better way to give a refund. The current way seems unprofessional. I would like to present my customers with a "receipt" not an invoice for -20.00.

Edit reminders
The reminders feature is really nice, but it's lacking features to edit and add to an existing reminder. All it lets you do right now is add and clear. It would be cool if you can attach reminders to more than just a customer name, too. Like associate a ticket/estimate/invoice...

Signature and terms app
Topaz is a dinosaur. Can we start talking about T&C + Signature app. 7" inch tablets are perfect for this and more readily available than topaz devices.
Whats needed:
1) Ability to sync with client device, so that data can be pushed to separate device.
2) show order details
3) show terms
4) show sig line and capture signature function.
this would provide yet another agnostic approach to a very important piece of equipment. Glaxy note 7" tablets are cheap and well suited for signature capture.
any other ideas that could make this better?

Request ability to make customers inactive
We need a way to make customers inactive or archive them in order for reports to be meaningful and communicate with Quickbooks correctly. Also, email addresses should be able to be used for more than one customer. We have some who are the contact for other organizations who are also customers.

Using Token Placeholder in MarketR
Hi Troy,
The MarketR integration is great.
But i think if you can a lil more functionality to it will be great.One feature i'm looking for is token placeholder.
For example, we could use
Hi {%FIRST_NAME%}, and replace it with customer names.Cuz for the time being, i'm using mostly hi there, which addresses general public instead of feeling more personal with my clients.
I hope this feature can be added soon.

We would like sub categories for items
We would like to choose a main category, Iphone 5 then choose part, front, then finaly if it's original or not. And maby even colour.
It will be very long names otherwise and hard to find.

Tax and Reports
We have an issue that all reports and screens show a subtotal including tax, then the tax total and finally the Grand total including tax. This is very confusing and causes us complaints. What should be the correct format would be Subtotal Excluding tax, then the tax total and finally the grand total.
It is also not clear what screens are asking for tax free prices or including tax prices, there does seem to be any consistency which causes us issues.
