    This thread seems to be talking about different things – so I need to get clarification if possible.

    When you comment on this thread please state if you want “gift certificate support”, meaning a template to print them or something, and maybe a way to track the balance – OR -

    “gift card support via Vantiv” where you have to buy magstripe cards with your design, have a Vantiv account, and deal with loading / checking balances / and the regulation that goes along with being required to allow people to cash out/etc.

    We can refer to these as “basic gift certificates” or “magstripe gift cards” in the comments.

    Feel free to say you want both! :)

    The Vantiv “gift card support” is a fairly large project that we would need to see a lot of votes to get going.

    A basic gift certificate tracking system might be simpler and…

    During the holiday we almost pulled the trigger on Vantiv gift cards because they were a great deal. But because it didn't integrate with RepairShopr, we held off on it.

    Vantiv gift cards are great, there system seams to be already setup. You would just need to connect to it. I'm not sure how hard that would be, but I would be the first beta tester!

    Would everyone please add a comment to this and give a sentence or two about how they would like the integration to work?

    - Eg, is it with a cloud shipping service?

    - Do you download a file which some desktop app is able to open to make a label?

    - Please let us know in the comments how this could work in your situation so we can get an idea what is involved

    Essentially you could have the api with stamps.com and enable shipping through them. We currently have that setup with our WooCommerce website. Sometimes we even bring in all of our online stores by using Ship Station.

    We were prepping to start this and realized the narrow-scope version we were willing to commit to would just make most people upset that we “built it half way” – but we aren’t in a position to compete with docusign/etc and spend a year building a proper solution.

    We could more easily help make a zapier/webmerge solution work if you wanted some automation, if we get a lot of feedback supporting that idea I’ll make it happen pretty quickly.

    Honestly, what you are talking about is something that Best Buy already has and it is part of there POS system. I worked there for 4 years so I know there systems inside and out.

    Instead of it just being in the estimate page, it would be included in the POS as well. This could work off of tags or off of the products themselves. Maybe a few if, then, statements in the product creation tool.

    Hey there -

    Can you just sign up for a free surveymonkey account and put the link in a Marketr campaign?

    My feeling is this already works, and we probably don’t need to build anything

    I would personally like to see if a client has been happy or upset with service in the past. Survey monkey or other survey programs are good for marketing purposes, but not customer relations.

    We would love to have this as a feature but with a few additional options. If we rented a laptop to a facility, then when we took the credit card for payment and deposit vantiv would put a hold on the credit card in case of damage. If there is damage, then with a click of a button you could then charge the client with credit card on file.

    We for one use Amazon 80% if the time because they are cheaper and faster, and because we don't have to order in bulk. Why not make this a little simpler:

    - Allow repairshopr to sync with an amazon account
    - Then all the parts that one uses in repairshopr is manually synced with amazon by the user
    - This way when a part is ordered in the store, it is automatically ordered through Amazon as a PO

    Similar to this,https://www.amazon.com/Dash-Buttons/b?ie=UTF8&node=10667898011, but with a product link we set instead of the Amazon api link.

    Our plan with this is to build a few options to choose from, with minor things able to be enabled/disabled. These aren’t built in a technology that allows us to make an editor though.

    It’s planned, but no estimated time we’ll actually work on it.

    Coming from many years in retail, this is a great idea! I don't think a customization tool should be enabled, but 3-5 different layouts that Repairshopr chooses that we could choose from.
