I'd like to add also an option to "Merge with" existing inventory item, so that it's trackable and reportable in QuickBooks. I don't typically use Purchase Orders because it's more than I really need, as we don't keep much inventory on-hand, and PO's do not link to anything such as existing Tickets, Estimate, Invoice, etc (which is another FR I have ( https://feedback.repairshopr.com/forums/165658-general/suggestions/31921243-add-a-column-to-purchase-order-to-associate-a-tick ), nor can they sync to Quickbooks. Part Order's are perfect, except I have no way to (financially) track them!

Ability to link PO's to anything: tickets, estimates, invoices, would be very welcome.

This is more like, additional people can subscribe/follow for updates right?

You can’t “assign” something to more than one person..

Would “follow” with notifications get you what you are after?

    Jesse commented  ·

More than one person can definitely be assigned to a ticket.

Maybe one way to achieve this that shouldn't be too much of a risk to break something would be to have a "Primary" tech (Assigned Tech), that's responsible for the ticket, with optional "Additional Techs" fields.
The only purpose the "Additional Techs" fields could have is the additional tech's ability to see only their tickets, and could automatically put a checkbox by their name for Appointments. This would also allow each tech to get notifications about the ticket (if allowed by the notification center).

I'm needing to give an outside contractor access for certain customers, but don't want them to be able to see everyone. This would work perfectly

Just posting a link to a similar previous request for this.
    http://feedback.repairshopr.com/forums/165658-general/suggestions/14830245-wiki-customer-side

An external KB or wiki from another vendor just adds additional overhead to keep track of (both cost and time). Would be nice for it to be all centrally located!

I'm a little suprised this hasn't been requested more. Unless there was a "Passwords" section under the customer contact like a"Note" that was viewable by group, an integration with LastPASS would be awesome

Planned means we want to do it, not that it’s scheduled for a dev to work on yet.

    Keep voting..

We just scheduled a few tasks that had 70+ votes, we can’t do this before those.

    Jesse commented  ·

Can we get an update from an admin? "Planned" for almost 2 years doesn't seem very promising on that it will be added.
