Bundles in the add/view charges on a ticket
Hi.
Would it be possible to add bundles in the add/view charges on ticket page. That would allow us to add the correct item bundle directly into the ticket and when the ticket is made into a invoice the correct item bundle would automaticly be in the invoice.
This is live!

Their current implementation of bundles is just broken, and rather useless as it is.
-You can't commit inventory within a bundle until it's invoiced
-You can't attach serial numbers until it's invoiced
-You can't create a new "thing" with a bundle (a custom PC, which needs to have its own new serial number attached)
-You can't choose to show bundle constituents, only a single line -

This does not appear to be truly completed as requested below. So yes - you can now add a bundle to a ticket but it DOES NOT function as an inventory item as was the real request below. If a bundle is added to a ticket it should reserve inventory for all items in the bundle otherwise why use it! It is just for "show" on the ticket as it currently functions.
We need to be able to build tickets with bundles that adjust inventory correctly. As I read through the comments below - that is really what the point was.
I will start a new Idea and hope we get enough votes to make them take another look at this.

Is this live? Am I missing something because non of my bundles appear in the add/view charges?

Yay! I will actually use the bundles now :)

Also noticed that if you add more then one bundle, especially if they have serial numbered items in the bundle, it fails terribly at getting the items on the invoice, you just have to remove them from the ticket and from the invoice, then re-add them one at a time, and choose the serial numbers for the items in the bundle, then all will work properly, very slow and time consuming.
Thanks,

Same here. The bundle feature is pretty much worthless if I can't add bundles to tickets. We generally only do batch invoicing, so adding to a one off invoice just for the bundle item isn't a great option.

Same here. Please add this... it's really weird that you can't add bundles directly, and like most companies we don't like to create invoices until a job is actually done.

We could really use this feature as well. We don't like to create invoices until the customer shows up to pick up their computer, since if there computer is in the shop for a while we don't want the automated system to send out emails about invoices.

same here, for the same reasons....

we also need this, when you make a bundle it should just become an inventory item otherwise why would you bother doing all the work of building the bundles?

Why on earth would you NOT have the ability to add bundles to tickets? How can I have a ticket to have a bundle built if I can't add it to the ticket? This really puts a crimp in the whole reason for having bundles in the first place.
And... yeah, why does it take so long to add this?

This option is needed. If not, you might as well get rid of the whole bundle items idea.

That has been in waiting for over a yar and a half now, and still nothing, why would a person NOT be able to add charges of any kind to a ticket, this shouldn't be needing any votes, it just should be added because it is a basic part of inventory.

great idea. a "tech bundle". add a glass and an LCD to a bundle to add just "lcd assembly" to the ticket charges. This would imply that stock would be decreased accordingly to bundle list of materials.

Any updates? I love the idea of the bundles, but until we can include it on a ticket like they are suggesting so it transfers to an invoice to be billed correctly or easy to assign to a category and/or look up in the POS system easily, it isn't very useful. I would love to see this function improved upon!

Would also love to have this option.

Also, would it be possible for the bundle items to show up in the inventory list? This would dramatically help us keep track of costs from bundling items and keeping the cost updated on the one item versus the entire bundle item. Or add the ability to scan UPC code on the add/view charges to the ticket. Create a separate field for it so we can add items by product name or UPC code.

I want to add the bundle to a ticket charge. However, the bundle does not show up under the line items. Also, would the bundle items keep track of inventory quantity?
