Edit Existing Asset When Creating Ticket
Some assets (PCs) change or need new information. The ability to edit an existing asset when adding to the ticket would be helpful.
6 votesThanks for the suggestion, Eric. We’ll look at how that might work for future implementation.

add a custom page feature to embed external pages
It would be nice if there was a way to add a page to the dashboard which could embed an external website (i.e. a Google Calendar or chat module from another website). That way users could add their own functionality to the software without having to wait for it to be added to RepairShopr.
6 votesHey there – are you guys using the new two-way google calendar sync?
And what chat app are you interested in using??

Add an option to show an Asset as no longer in shop possession.
Currently the system allows asset tracking for clients, but does not show whether the asset has been returned to the client or is still in shop possession.
For example, we have a client that has turned 60 tablets into our possession but needs them returned as they are done. So we currently have 47 tablets in our possession, and have already returned 13. Rather than open each individual asset (and leave room for error) would there be a quick or easy way to mark the asset as returned?
Thank you.

Web design and hosting services module
My idea is to integrate a module to sell and invoice other services which could really use the existing recurring invoicing feature.
Its no news that computer repair is becoming very competitive as computers become more popular and most of us have emerged into other related industries such as web design, hosting, security systems and even printing.

Trigger customer labels based upon fields entered at ticket creation
When we book equipment into the workshop we always record if there was a power supply, a bag, software etc.
It would be great if RS could print a label for each item that was recorded on the ticket.
i.e.
Customer books in laptop with power supply but no bag
RS prints a customer label for the laptop and power supply - one is affixed to the laptop and the other to the power suply
Customer books in a laptop with a bag plus a Software DVD, no power supply
RS prints a label for the laptop, the bag and…

Change list "types" to auto-fill drop downs
Hey guys,
I was originally making this suggestion to request the "referred by" field type be converted; but then realized there's several different lists and modules in RS that are using inferior, non-editable, databases.
Specifically, the "referred by" field is hugely important information, as you all know. My list of ways-customers-are-acquired is ever-growing. As of now, I've tried to combine certain referred terms together to make it easier to figure out what we're looking for. However, this is proving more difficult.
I have the perfect solution for how to add/edit/delete these types of terms, and the best part is you're…

Ticket Linking for Project Management and Better Diagnosis - Similar to Invoice Progress Bar
Why not have the ability to link tickets and then put them in the Diagnostic box. Similar to how the invoiced box works with multiple invoices?
This may be an easy way to provide a starter solution to project management and to provide easier diagnosis without searching through tickets.

Expandable/Collapse PO's
When looking for items that have been ordered it would be nice to be able to have a quick look/expandable option to show what items are on the PO on each line item.

Create a New Ticket by Scanning Customer Barcode
Need the functionality of clicking on Create New Ticket and Scan the customer barcode(which stores the phone no) instead of customer name. Right now you can only do it with customer name.

Charge credit card on due date
I have a lot of Managed Services clients who like to receive their invoice even if they are on auto pay. I see that there is a option to auto charge credit card on file. I would like to be able to set the system to auto create the invoice and then have a second option to auto charge the credit card on a certain date.
Here is my example, my clients invoices are created 14 days before the end of the month. I mail/email the invoices to my clients and they are always due on the first of the…
6 votesHey -
How is this different than just making the invoices generate on the first and charge at that time?
I can’t think of a good reason to add the complexity right now, but let us know

Time Clock - Get notifications if someone manually changes time.
Notify ownership / upper management / HR- if any one manually adjusts time, that way you can find a reason on why this may keep happening.

integrate with ShipRush to support mail-in repair business
shiprush is a fantastic automated solution for managing mail-in repairs, as well as parts sales. It is very well established. I'd love to see RepairShopr integrated with ShipRush for seamless management of shipping.

Add the option to skip receipt printing
We offer a service which customers pay for on a monthly basis. A reasonable percentage of them pay by mailing in a check.
We have RepairShopr configured to automatically print a receipt whenever a payment is made. This works really nicely, but when we are processing the checks that are mailed in, there is no point in printing the receipt. We could just temporarily turn of automatic printing for it is really easy to switch, but then it is easy to forget to turn it back on.
It would be nice if, when receiving a payment for an invoice, we…
6 votesWhat if instead of “skip receipt” checkbox, we just never print a receipt if the payment date field was changed? That generally means you are entering a payment that didn’t just happen that moment, like a mailed in check..
Thoughts?
Not excited about adding more fields, keeping the interface simple is what we receive the most feedback about in general.

Integration With Call Rail For Phone Calls
Since the PBX integration is really only compatible with a very small number of PBX systems (ours won't work with it - Ringcentral) so we would like to see something like callrail.com supported. With Call rail you can setup tracking numbers, when a call comes in it can not only be tracked with call rail but also logged to the user's account, further I believe the user's name/CID info can be passed to call rail for insertion into their system - check out http://apidocs.callrail.com/

Use my own Favicon
Could you make it possible to use my own favicon so that it shows up for my page and my bookmark?
It would be a simple change that would make a big difference in personalising the portal to my business.
Thanks

UK Supplier Catalogs
I see that you're looking at adding supplier catalogs like iFixit to RS. Great idea.
I'd be very happy if you could add some UK based distributors like Computer 2000 or Ingram Micro.
Anyone else think they would fine this useful?

Portal ticket notifications
I would like for tickets created from the customer portal automatically assign to a certain technician for that notifications such as text and emails can be done. Most customers that are made from the portal have a service agreement and need to have priority service.
At least an option in the notifications center for portal created tickets (not all), would be nice so these don't get overlooked since they are paying for priority service.

Reminder button in ticket and customer view.
This button would allow reminders to be place on the calendar and in the reminder section. Allowing for easy follow ups without creating ticket just yet.
This can also be merged with the Appointment button, but with an options menu; appointment or reminder or followup.
