    I agree. Often times we are ordering a one-off item for a particular ticket and we don't intend to keep those items in stock. It's not a big deal to create a new item in inventory to add to the PO, but when we try to create a parts order from the ticket everything goes sideways. We can't update the status because (I presume) we don't have in stock and there is no link to the PO to acknowledge that the part has been ordered and is on the way.

    We need a better PO/Logistics package all the way around. PO and Logistics should be combined and ordering parts from a ticket should be easier, allowing for back order, links to a PO, etc.
