This is very much needed and would be great for reporting both in RS and outside of RS... Talk to your accountant but usually when you have bad debt you would record it as bad debt in QB and so it would not show as paid .. additionally, this can be written off on your taxes.

I would like to add to this a few items:

    - Allow late fees to be configured at the customer level - since each customer might have different terms a global late fee doesn't always work.

    - Allow late fees to be turned off for some clients (in some cases we know customers take additional time to pay so we don't want to generate an email or a late fee).

    - Create an option to have late fees automatically waived if payment is made within a certain period of time (i.e If the account is brought current within x days void x amount x percent or all late fees)

    - Better generated late fee emails - notification showing the aging of all invoices and customization of email merge fields to pull in the total amount of late fees and invoice aging-related data - the ultimate goal being here to produce automated emails and or text to customers to encourage them to pay their bills!

Good idea but I would suggest something like uplink.com, honeywell total control (both of which we are resellers for) and integrate into hardware installed or placed in the vehicle ..so not only can it not be disabled/removed but its also a good measure against theft and reports all the vehicles vitals.

**THIS FEATURE SHOULD BE ADDED ASAP! As a recurring billing system goes this is a pretty important feature that it last ... it should give us the option to set how many retires then have the option to 'auto add and roll over' to the next invoice so the system will just add anything that got declined to the next invoice.

Hey, can you email us a copy of the “new lead” emails those services send you? We can probably do that pretty easily if they email you the details..

YAHH! Looks like this has been implemented as it is a GREAT suggestion! I think now, as Jason points out, we just need the ability/option to assign a follow up person/date (that would automatically create a reminder and generate an email for them to follow up on that date/time). I would also suggest adding a 'priority' drop down as well.
