    We would like the option to not show custom text fields such as Computer Password: on the ticket receipt, but still to allow it to print on Ticket (full) print/PDF.

    We hand the ticket receipt to the customer on job receipt, and print a full ticket to stick on the equipment and use as a paper copy (we always keep a paper copy and often work from it).

  4. Prepaid Hours should work on value not quantity

    We have found that using the prepaid hours doesn't discriminate against the hours bought and the hours being used. Example: We have a workshop rate (say $50 p/h) and an onsite labour rate (say $100 p/h). Say a customer buys 20 prepaid workshop hours ($1,000). If they have an onsite booking that goes for 2 hours (usually worth $200) we can not charge them for this time as it is deducted from the prepaid hours. Furthermore the time that is deducted is only 2 hours when this should be the equivalent value of 4 hours at the workshop rate. This…

  6. Ability to Link Tickets to Each Other (Just Like Invoices and Estimates)

    Here's the overview of the idea:

    1. Have ability to link tickets to each other for easy reference.
    2. Linked tickets could go in the "Diagnostic" Progress box just like Invoices go into the "Invoiced" Progress box and estimates go into the "Work Approved" Progress Box.
    3. A link ticket button or reference would need to be added so tickets could be linked together.
    4. You could link as many tickets together as you wanted.
    5. The linked tickets would be clickable just like invoices and estimates currently are.

    Why add this idea?

    1. Great for warranty/redo work when a new ticket is created.

  7. Enable custom coloring on the Ticket Menu

    It would be nice if we could create a separate color when "Waiting for Parts" or "Waiting on Customer" etc.. that way if we have 40+ Tickets open we will be able to quickly determine what we have parts for and are able to fix right now or if we are waiting on something or someone and cannot complete the job at this time, it would speed up the process for determining how to prioritize jobs better

  8. Optional Components software in Estimates

    When I do an estimate or bundle I like to add a couple of optional Items ie bundle plus optional MS Office, but it gives the total of both bundle and office. How about the ability to have the total for the bundle for the estimate and the an option to say add $$ for Office

  9. Allow for fraction of cents in cost

    I stock some small connectors that I may purchase in lots of 100 but sell per unit (like RJ45 connectors for networking jobs). The may cost me $0.055 /each to buy, but when making POs to reorder, it throws my amount off since it rounds to 6 cents.

  11. Show custom fields information in the customer portal

    My customers are getting confused as the item information that I enter in my system under the 'custom fields' does not appear in the customer portal.
    I see there is an area on the customer portal ticket look up that is labelled 'Additional Information'
    Could this information be shown here ?
    I have retail shop clients who may have 10 or 20 of their customers items with me at any one time.

    Be able to map an asset to an assigned contact, this way when they email an issue creating a new ticket, their asset (PC in most cases) is automatically mapped to the ticket.

  14. A mention / notification system.

    If a tech posts a hidden comment inside of ticket calling out to another tech or help desk admin.. they'll be notified within the interface rather than an email.

    Example "Repair is completed @helpdeskadmin." The helpdeskadmin then receives a notification within repairshopr that the ticket needs to be invoiced and the customer contacted.

  15. make it possible to require Custom Fields for new customers.

    Under Customer Settings we can assign required fields for new customers. I'd like to be able to make a custom “additional field” a “required field.
    For example, we would like the program to prompt the employee creating the new customer record to assign the customer as either residential, contract, or business. We have the custom field created but we are finding it difficult for our employees to remember to assign each new customer as the appropriate type because it’'s in a different tab from where we enter all the other information for a new customer.

    We’ll continue to look into ways to do this, right now we didn’t want the required fields on the second tab to trip people up – since they aren’t in view.

  16. Assets manager allows data import via speccy

    For those of you who don't know Speccy is a free tool that automatically scans a computer and retrieves the hardware information. It's quite extensive and an excellent way to quickly identify things like motherboard name, RAM type etc.

    I would like to be able to upload the speccy output directly into the assets module. This would save alot of time when onsite and make it easier overall to add new hardware to better serve my customers.

    This is something we could consider in the future with a premium support package. Would be based on a critical mass of users looking for that kind of package and pricing. Appreciate the suggestion!

  18. Print multiple ticket labels based on ticket content

    We love RepairShopr for our computer and cell phone repair shop. There is a checkbox on our tickets called "Power Cord," which is selected when customers have included the charger for their computers. When checked, we would like to print 2 ticket labels – one for the computer, one for the charger – so that we don't have to manually print an extra one. Would anyone else like to see this feature integrated? Thanks in advance.

  19. Option to print labels to sheets instead of label printer

    Specifically for use when receiving inventory, so the label printer isn't spitting out 100 individual labels, and we can just use 3 sheets of label paper.

  20. Be able to "Collapse" a Status...

    We group our tickets by status, For example "awaiting repair" or "estimate sent" or "courier arranged" etc etc. We are finding that when you have 30+ tickets open it can get quite busy visually. It would be great if you could "collapse" a status so the tickets in the status are collapsed and appear under the status as they currently do only once you select the status...does this make sense?
