Add “captcha” or “not a robot” to leads
We need to add some type of security for creating new leads, such as captcha. I am getting 3-5 new fake leads per day and this could be resolved simply by adding this important security feature and making allleds fill in the captcha.

We get the "fake leads" too. Usually 3-5 a day sometimes more... sometimes less.
Nothing is more disappointing then getting a pushover telling me I have a lead and noticing that it's nothing more than a bot. :( A real morale downer.
I know that some of the RS guys say that it's coming from our RS email reply address that's been compromised but it would be nice to rule out bots hitting our website and using the form to push their garbage.
How about setting up the RS email system to do this when someone sends us an email reply to our RS email address:
When the email arrives the SENDING address is checked against email addresses that we have on file for our clients already in RS. If the addy is not on the list then the email is returned to the sender with a link asking them to "click to verify you want to open a lead because we really hate spammers (or whatever)" and that in turn lands them on a page where they have to fill out a capcha to actually submit the lead. That should really put a kink in their ability to send us garbage leads.
I don't think that would be super hard to work out. Then again... I'm no programmer either. I just fix stuff!

We get 2-3 fake leads per day as well from catfishing spam, it's becoming quite a nuisance. I will say some of the subject lines are pretty hilarious though

I will note we have automatic ticket creation which makes this problem a lot worse.

I am also getting a lot of spam from leads. I think it is coming from our RepairShopr leads email but I can not confirm. RepairShopr has yet gotten back to me about it. But I do think Google's Captcha would be amazing to integrate and it is literally a 15 minute job to integrate so we can stop these. We have enough open tickets, I do not need to try figuring out which ones are real or not which slows down response time to actual customers.
This is getting crazy...im getting 15-20 fake leads per day and I am marking them all as SPAM. Theres gotta be a way to add this security feature to prevent these annoying bots from spamming us!
