Ticket Automation - Send SMS
If a public comment is added to a ticket, can we have it also send the SMS message if they're set to receive them?
This should be implemented regardless of comment type, but rather as a general option for Ticket Automation. We have a couple techs who somehow miss email notifications on phones, but never miss a text.
I was about to put in feedback for the same thing. Some customers don't have any access to email as their device is with us for repair. So prompting them automatically to collect via sms (which we do manually) would be useful. As well as being able to send other automated sms such as comments etc.
Ticket automation would be extremely useful for us if the info was sent by SMS. The vast majority of our customers stay in contact with us via text and not so much by email.
