unify RepairShopr & RepairShopr mobile sites
Due to the normal RepairShopr site now scaling so well on mobile, can we drop the mobile site and move "Field Jobs" from mobile site, to the main site?
It would less for you guys to maintain aswell.
Just a thought
This is a great suggestion — we’ll be doing this by folding in the mobile site aspects to our iOS and Android apps. Thx!

I would love for this to be fixed as well. It would be great to recognize we are on a mobile device and then allow the touch screen to work instead of the sig pads.

Hey Tyler - I think we made it so the signature areas work on the desktop site from non-windows computers, like mac, and phones. Is that working for you?

I do 99% of the work onsite using the desktop view. The ONLY thing I use mobile for is the signatures because we have a signature pad instore, so I can't get signatures onsite without switching to mobile view, finding the invoice/ticket I needed and then having them sign it. Usually, because of ease of use, I'll go back to the desktop view and then finish out the ticket. It's incredibly cumbersome that I have to get signatures in the mobile view and then flip back.

Really good feedback on this -- thanks so much!

(Full site Field Jobs)
Also, we don't use the field jobs on the full site, because we book from the ticket (appointments)
And its way too hard to find a ticket in the list
We view our calendars on google, which includes non-RS appointments too (like holidays, to do's, vehicle availability)Is there a way i can show you images of what i was thinking?

In short: i hate hunting through loads of tickets and notes, and searching, while onsite, it makes me look disorganized

Its minimalistic style, how it only shows which jobs are book on any given day and how it only has 3 options: arrived, notes and leaving.
Others things that would be nice:
1. Arrange the jobs by time order (start times)
2. Add another option: part
- so we can clearly see when a part has been used, just an idea.
3. When selecting a job, show inital subject, description and all 'issue' comments - this would show everything that the tech needs to do, and nothing more (just the way we like it!) -
Appreciate the feedback on this. Is there something in particular that works better on the mobile site for field jobs?

Switching modes is annoying, and i find myself using the main site mostly (cause i can book appointments and its better), but then Field Jobs on mobile site is just so damn handy!
