Change default for assigning tech to tickets
Assigning techs to tickets is helpful but it would be better if the default was not the person who created the ticket. It would be preferred if the default was to not assign the ticket to anyone until a specific tech is chosen.

I agree, usually its the sales guys in the shop that book the ticket in, but they will never do the repair. The repair will get assigned by the workshop manager.
Another alternative would be to have a blank option on the ticket status page so that we can select a blank option from a drop down menu.
