iOS RepairShopr Lite Mobile App Improvements

Wish you never had to leave the RS mobile app to take a Square payment? How about the option to use wireless square readers? Well you're in luck!

iOS RepairShopr Lite mobile app version 4.3.5 (and above) now supports both these features! Now you can take Square transactions with your wireless readers without ever having to leave the RepairShopr mobile app on both iPhones and iPads.

To enable this feature, first make sure you are on the latest version of the iOS app. You will need to be on version 4.3.5 (or above). To check your app's version, head to "Settings" > "About" and look for the "Version". If you are not up-to-date, please head to the app store, and update the RepairShopr Lite app.

Now that you are on the correct version, head to "Settings" > "Payments". You should now see the option to enable the setting for "Use Square's In-app Checkout". Go ahead and enable it.

With this setting enabled, you can now take payments solely in the RepairShopr Lite mobile app! Go ahead and take a payment in the mobile app to see it in action.

If you are looking to enable your wireless Square readers, head back to "Settings" > "Payments" > "Configure Square Reader".

Here, you will want to "Connect a Reader" and follow the instructions to get it setup. You should see something like this:

Once you have connected the wireless card reader, you can go ahead and take a payment! If you are using a headphone jack reader, you can also configure it here as well. Keep in mind that the Square integration payment workflow supports cash and credit only. If you want to take a check payment, for example, you'll need to use another RepairShopr payment method that you create.
