    We were prepping to start this and realized the narrow-scope version we were willing to commit to would just make most people upset that we “built it half way” – but we aren’t in a position to compete with docusign/etc and spend a year building a proper solution.

    We could more easily help make a zapier/webmerge solution work if you wanted some automation, if we get a lot of feedback supporting that idea I’ll make it happen pretty quickly.

    This thread seems to be talking about different things – so I need to get clarification if possible.

    When you comment on this thread please state if you want “gift certificate support”, meaning a template to print them or something, and maybe a way to track the balance – OR -

    “gift card support via Vantiv” where you have to buy magstripe cards with your design, have a Vantiv account, and deal with loading / checking balances / and the regulation that goes along with being required to allow people to cash out/etc.

    We can refer to these as “basic gift certificates” or “magstripe gift cards” in the comments.

    Feel free to say you want both! :)

    The Vantiv “gift card support” is a fairly large project that we would need to see a lot of votes to get going.

    A basic gift certificate tracking system might be simpler and…

    I already used all my votes for other items but I really need this as well. Seems like an easy fix by just being able to provide a custom date and time field. Post on their facebook page so others vote!

    Daniel – Domo has spent many millions of dollars building amazing technology to pull that off. We could have added a report here and there, and would always have people complaining – or – buy domo and integrate.

    Domo was very expensive, we are going to continue losing money on it. We added it for those people that need more powerful reporting because we would never have been able to build something as nice as they have.

    Just like we won’t build accounting, so we integrate QB and Xero.

    In the MSP space there are reporting systems out there that people pay a lot of money to hook into the big PSAs. We were able to accomplish the same type of reporting for a fraction of the price – and we are proud of it.

    I think Domo platform is pretty cool but none of the charts really give me easy data to read. I just want simple. I want to see how much money is coming in and be able to play with that data. RS has so many different ways to come with up with numbers, we always see different data.

    In the Admin portal is says how much money comes in for a month. Why can't domo have the same report that you can drill down on and see the details of how RS came up with that number. On top of that, it would be nice to compare the current month to last years months so find trends or slow months.

    I am paying for the Domo and if there is a way to request charts, please let me know.

    $20/month for that type of data is NOTHING! So thank you for that.

    The only thing I think lacks on RS end is communicating changes and features. Feature Friday is a great start but what's the point of implementing things if the bulk of the users don't even know it exists. I would love to see some sort of real time online meetings we can get on to learn how we can save time. There's a lot of value there.

    QuoteWerks is a perfect example of how estimates should be (or could be) formatted. It might not be ideal for everyone but anyone that works with businesses would be a huge value add for RS. I had a post just like this. Can they be merged?

    Interesting idea. We’ve had some people repurpose a template they’re not using (Estimates, for example) in exactly this way.

    I was just thinking about this! We have eWaste forms and forms for sending units out. It would be nice to be able to have customizable templates that we could use that would pull info and attach to the ticket for record keeping.
