    What if any appointment that had a location specified we could calculate the road-miles from your office to there, and put that in a report?

    A little simpler than doing real vehicle/person tracking, still gets you pretty good data – and would be more realistic for us to quickly build.

    Having the mileage tied to the schedule for auto calculation makes it more detailed reporting for IRS and bookkeeping purposes. It would remove the need for a separate app that our technicians would need to enter a customers private data like names and address's info into, and keep it in the secure RS database. It also would remove an extra step that isn't needed, when there is already a schedule and info to pull the same data from. We already had a mileage app built into our old custom CRM that even took GPS snapshots to enter into the system to confirm where they were, then allowed them to pick from the avail appointments on schedule in a drop down to tag to there location. This info could be shared with RS if you'd like to integrate it, beings we are in process of transitioning to RS at the moment.
