  1. Have multiple Invoice Templates

    We'd like to be able to have multiple invoice templates, i.e. we have 2 repair shops we run from the one location - I'd like to be able to switch the template with the click of a button.

  2. Custom Phone Number Labels

    I think it would be incredibly beneficial to be able to label customer phone numbers with custom labels. Instead of:

    Mobile: 515-555-5555

    Home: 515-444-4444

    You could have something like:

    Mark's Cell: 515-555-5555

    Katie's Cell: 515-444-4444

    Etc, Etc.

    It's very hard to know currently exactly who's number you are calling, especially with businesses that may have 4 or 5 different points of contacts, all with cell phones.

  3. Enable bulk SMS marketing / service reminder capabilities

    We don't always have an email for our customers but we do almost always have a mobile phone number. We've got SMS integration but it would be helpful to be able to use the database from RS to send bulk SMS for special offers and service reminders to our customers. SMS is always read and always quickly so it's a really really useful medium for us.

  4. Search within Customer Portal

    We need to have the Search feature available within the Customer Portal the way it is within ours. We have several large clients very frustrated having to go multiple pages to find anything, they call us and we find within 3 seconds. They have said their portal is not useful for the most part.

  5. Vonage PBX integration

    I would like to see RepairShopr integrated with the Vonage Desktop Connect app. I have tested this with our vonage install and got this to work. Here is the routine I used.

    Download the Vonage Deskptop Connect client to your desktop. I used Google Chrome and it worked.
    Make a test call and make sure that you do not have pop-ups blocked.
    Switch over to Repairshopr and go to App Center and click on the Free PBX integration. Generate a token for your company.
    Switch back to Vonage Desktop Connect and go to the settings area.

  6. Create packing slips from invoices

    When a customer buys hardware, we need something for them to sign when the equipment is delivered stating they received it. We need a way to do that when it's just a straight sale and not related to a ticket. It would be helpful to be able to do this from the invoice screen. On some occasions our customers receive the equipment before they issue a payment, so a receipt would not work for us.

  7. Quickbooks Online Two Way Sync

    We would like to see true 2 way sync with Quickbooks Online (QBO). In particular, we would like Invoice payments to sync both ways between RS and QBO to save the current manual double handling of payments etc.

  8. Custom Asset and Customer Labels

    We would like the ability to customize our customer labels and our asset labels for devices. With all the features added to repairshopr this is a core feature that has been largely overlooked for some time.

    The ability to add and remove existing fields of data would be ideal. I'm able to edit our invoices to an extent and I believe this should be a priority as it directly reflects on the business. Mediocre label = mediocre business.

  9. Send SMS in Ticket Automation

    I would like to be able to send an SMS to a customer to let them know that their item has been picked up if the status has changed.
    Ticket Automation should also have an option to 'wait and recheck' in case that the end use accidentally clicked on a wrong status, and rushed to change the status again.

  10. Auto Email Receipt of Payment For Online Payments & Recurring

    I don't know if it is already an idea out there, but it would be great to have an email receipt automatically sent to the customer after they make a payment with credit card online or after a recurring payment is processed.

    Like most stores, we need to print pricing labels to mark shelves in store with prices for products. RS could really do with a good system for customising label sizes and styles so that we can make good quality pricing labels.

  13. Profit for estimates calculation

    Kind of like quickbooks used to do.

    I would like a couple of boxes that total the cost, and the profit we would be making on this estimate. Also, it would be handy if it showed a percentage for the profit vs the estimate total so you could also see the markup percentage total for the estimate. This would help a lot for projects we quote.

  14. Invoice Email Subject Customization

    We really need the ability to change the Email Subject for sent invoices. We need dynamic variables like Invoice number.

    Right now it just says "Company Name - Invoice Attached"

    If you send multiple invoices, the client can miss the additional ones if they have conversation view on. This also adds new ones to old ones, and again the client may miss it.

    We need it to have the invoice number in the Subject so that each and every one will be custom. We are able to do this in Quickbooks or Freshbooks.

    This suggestion was more about us needing to improve the subject instead of have it be customizable – we have added the invoice number and even the ticket reply tags in case there was a ticket attached. If you still want to make up your own subjects let’s get a new suggestion open for that vs just improving the subject like we’ve done here.

  17. Schedule appointments for longer than 8 hours

    We sometimes have big projects that take place over the course of a couple days. It would be nice to be able to schedule one appointment for the entire project, as opposed to a new appointment for each day.

  18. Request ability to make customers inactive

    We need a way to make customers inactive or archive them in order for reports to be meaningful and communicate with Quickbooks correctly. Also, email addresses should be able to be used for more than one customer. We have some who are the contact for other organizations who are also customers.

  19. Open Invoice Reminder - Editor and Preview

    The open invoice reminder is a fantastic automation solution to help keep your less than punctual clients aware they owe you money.

    Two things to improve it:

    1) Use the same WYSIWYG edit as all of the other email template editors. Not sure why we're using an alternate one in this module. We use completely custom email templates including the wrapper, and there's something weird going on with the formatting.

    2) To compliment #1, need a way to test what the email looks like before sending this out. Considering these emails are fully automatic and are not manually triggered, it's…

  20. Complete RepairShopr Backup

    I would like a way to backup everything in RepairShopr. Automatically (say - to something like DropBox).

    There are so many scenarios (accidental deletion, RepairShopr glitch, disgruntled employee, etc) where it would be incredibly valuable to have regular and multiple versions of the data in RepairShopr.

    The invoice, estimates, templates, tickets, reminders, calendar data, worksheets, inventory, customers, internal wiki data, customer wiki data, attachments, time clock, custom contact fields, etc - are all things that took a large amount of time to enter and develop over time.     We added a paid add on for this – it’s in the app center.

    It costs money due to the high server load and disk space usage.
