Default Ticket Due Date
Hello
We would like the default ticket due date to be editable in Ticket Preferences. The current default is 3 days so if the person entering the ticket details does not change the due date then the job does not become obvious to the assigned technician until the due date arrives.
Our preference is for the default to be today or tomorrow, then the tech can see the ticket early and bump the due date as required with the appropriate notification to the customer.

The Default due date is 3 days however the editable due date is asking for ours until due in the Ticket Preferences section and not days. Can either Days in a number be entered or is the number entered into the box going to convert to hours only?

We can't seem to find the option to change the default due date/time in Ticket Preferences either. Only the option to Enable it.

Can't believe no one else finds it frustrating that you can't change the ticket due date from the ticket list, our due date for jobs changes by the hour, at the moment you have to go into the ticket to modify, it takes an age. Surely not that difficult to be able to change it so you can edit from the list, would save us loads of time.

I see this in the Ticket Settings. I do not know if it is live to everyone but you can select the default for hours until due!
New suggestion... Repairshopr gets a hype man that just tells everyone about the awesome stuff the repairshopr dev team does!

Yes please! 3 days for a new ticket is unnecessary! I was even thinking that it could be left blank and then be a required field.

Our default time to complete a job is 1-2 weeks in this industry, so I would really rather have a farther out due date. Basically all of our tickets are red unless we mark every single ticket due date manually.

I agree with this. We even have this date listed on our intake forms we provide to the customer that shows how far out before we get started on the service.

Just being able to change the default due days from to 3 to another figure would be useful. We vary our turn-around time depending on work load so we can better manage customer expectations on when their computer may be fixed.

I would also like too see this as it would allow for a quick view of machines that going over our target turn around times.

I would like to say, this feature would be very helpful to us as well.
I would also really like it if when I clicked in a date field in most areas of repair shopper (time clock for example) that the date that WAS in the field wouldn't get automatically replaced with todays date. What's with that? The date needs to stay the same as it was until I change it. It makes correcting clock-in times really difficult after the fact.
