Enable editing of Private Comments
Regarding Private Comment - and while the ticket has been invoiced, I am recalling points after the fact that I want to remember.
It doesn't appear that there is any way to edit the comment - other than create a new comment - and have a stream of comments for 1 service call, vs. 1 private comment for 1 service call.
It would be useful to have this functionality.
It’s just a policy to not have comments be editable in our system. You can delete and make a new one with the more complete note.

It's weird RepairShopR has it as a policy when it has nothing to do with the relationship between them and its users/customers. It should really be a policy option that RSR users have for their customers as it is directly related to communication back and forth between RSR users and their customers. It doesn't help that RSR is buggy on what time tracking gets added as a comment and what doesn't.

I think this would be useful. My thoughts are that sometime staff make errors in spelling and other genuine mistakes that need correcting. If they delete and recreate, the comment is out of order, this would be useful for customer facing comments so things can be tidied up if necessary. It would be good to add this a a permission option so we can choose whether to implement this policy or not and by default have it not enabled so it does not affect existing RS users of they do not like it.
