  2. Marketr - Use invoice status as a trigger to send emails

    I'm not sure why, but my tickets aren't closing despite invoicing and subsequently that invoice being paid. At the moment I only see an option for Marketr to work when the status of a TICKET is changed.

    I would like an email to be sent two weeks after the customer has made payment on their invoice.

    Is this possible?

    Hi,

    Based on your description of your current flow, it sounds like the problem lies with the behavior of the Ticket Status. Currently when you change generate a invoice from a ticket, the system is hard coded to change the ticket’s status to invoiced. This means the ticket no longer shows as resolved. You do get prompted to close the ticket out after you’ve taken the payment, otherwise it will remain in invoiced status.

    While we don’t have plans currently to change the hard coded status, it is something we may do in the future. Thank you for your feedback.

  3. Add filtering to "Invoice Export to CSV" by date

    I suggest you add filtering to the report "Invoice Export to CSV"so it can be filtered by date, and also making it possible for it to be a scheduled report. Invoice Export to CSV would be an ideal report for my accounting department. The Sales Detail Report doesn't include taxes... and while Daily Payment Report does include taxes, it doesn't give you a breakdown. Which can be a pain if you have some payments with no tax and some with tax. The Invoice Export To CSV seems to have all the info we need (we just need to sort out…

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback on this. The invoice export currently will export all invoices to CSV. It exists as a means of back up or to be used for customized reporting that we do not currently offer. We don’t have plans to add the exports to the Scheduled Reports feature at this time. If you are interested in scheduled backups of CSVs we have a Premium service in the App Center that can do nightly or monthly backups of the CSVs.

    Please consider integration with quickbooks payments merchant center. This service is vastly superior in features and economic value compared to Vantiv, maybe even Stripe.

    You can say you prefer it, but you cannot say it’s superior in any way.

    The Vantiv pricing you will get is better than Intuit will provide, and the integration and API on Vantiv & Stripe is far easier to work with. We couldn’t even get registered as an Intuit merchant developer because their signup processes were totally broken.

    For now we are not considering adding Intuit Merchant.

  5. Sort customizable ticket items.

    On the ticket screen now that we can custom fields to the columns it would be great to be able to sort by them. One thing that would be great especially for the Timer feature is to sort by most time, least time AND currently running time.

    We won’t be able to get sorting on most of those columns in the near future. There is just too much of a performance hit.

  6. Extend the attachments mdoule to include TWAIN scanner compatibility.

    Very often a customer will come into our shop, to purchase an item, with a paper purchase order. At the moment, to include this document in the ticket, or invoice, it is necessary to scan the document into a pdf file, save it somewhere, upload the file as an attachment, and then delete the pdf. It would be quicker & easier for us, if RS would accept the document direct from a scanner. I would have thought adding TWAIN compatibility would be a relatively simple job.

    Any Windows API work is probably out of scope and not a simple job. Sorry about that! Maybe there is some way to make a scanner appear as a webcam in windows, which would make it appear in the file upload box. (Has a webcam control)

  7. Copy or clone customer data (and assets, etc) from RepairShopr to SyncroMSP

    We are customers of both and currently you can only migrate all your customers from RS to Syncro completely, with no way back.

    It would save a lot of time and avoid mistakes if we could copy or clone all the data held on a customer at a time - or select any number of customers, as we don't need them all.

  8. Marking items as sold from Inventory

    I sell refurbished laptops so they get put into the refurbish workflow and after the repair is complete they are moved back to stock or inventory if you will. So other than disabling the item after it has sold, is there a way to keep it but have it marked as sold so I can track my sales?

  11. Integration with Insighly

    I would like to see some Integration with Insighly CRM. I have just started using the free version for the past few weeks and it has helped me stay VERY organized with contact information and relationships even outside of "customers". I would really love if it could integrate into Repairshopr.

  12. Customizable Hidden comment templates

    This may have been suggested, but I searched and could not find it. Just like the canned response, but for hidden comments. Create templates that will gel with internal communication. Ex:

    Performed:
    Status:
    Parts Used:
    Parts Ordered:
    Next:
    Addition Info:

    The tech would fill out the fields then save the note. Then who ever looks at that ticket next knows what was the last thing done and what would be the next thing to do with out going through all the comments. Maybe have a way to link then to the update type. The part order template could…

  13. ETA of upcoming changes from RS

    Hey RS Staff!

    Everyone loves all the updates/advancements you make in the system, but we never know what to expect. It would be nice to know what is really "in the works this week" vs "planned". After all, there are currently over 100 requests that I'm sure aren't all being looked at in the near future.

    On UserVoice, I see there are different statuses, including "under review", "planned" and "started". It would be really nice to see what's being worked on under the home screen in RS, but otherwise could you keep the statuses in UV updated more?

  14. Have subject line on Estimates the same way tickets appear to differentiate between them

    When you look at a customer profile, the estimates are listed with dates and amounts, but no subject or note to tell what the estimates are for without opening them up for details. Right below that is the list of tickets which do show the subject line. Having the same type of subject field on an estimate would be helpful.

  16. Choose Locations for Service Calls

    We have several contract customers that have 1 pot of hours, but multiple locations. It would be nice to be able to choose a certain location for the service call so that their is no confusion and still able to use the same bucket of hours.

  18. Hello, When making a "New Ticket Comment" you select your "Update Subject" I think one of the items in here should be "Update"

    Sometimes we just want to email our client an update on their repair, and it doesn't really fall under any of the other categories.

  19. Add date/time to suggestions and replies

    When looking at the suggestions and the replies it is hard to determine when an idea is really old or not. It would be cool to see when an idea was marked as Planned or In Progress. Also, it would be cool to have a "read by admin" mark to show ideas are heard.
