  1. Custom Phone Number Labels

    I think it would be incredibly beneficial to be able to label customer phone numbers with custom labels. Instead of:

    Mobile: 515-555-5555

    Home: 515-444-4444

    You could have something like:

    Mark's Cell: 515-555-5555

    Katie's Cell: 515-444-4444

    Etc, Etc.

    It's very hard to know currently exactly who's number you are calling, especially with businesses that may have 4 or 5 different points of contacts, all with cell phones.

  2. RS App - button to link-to customer 'web' profile

    Using the RS mobile view to search for customers is somewhat tricky at times. The new RS App however makes it extremely quick and efficient... problem is, being it's still limited with functionalities, there's much that needs to still take place from the webpage side. (Which is understandable)

    So suggestion; add a 'Button' in the App, that'll open a link directly to the client/customer profile via browser. That way we can rely in the mobile App to 'search' and if we can't do the next task via App, we can just link directly to Mobile (repairshopr.com) profile of that given…

  3. Stock inventory website integration widget

    So I have people from around town, usually people from phone carriers that I've befriended calling at least once a day and asking if I have parts on hand so they can send me a customer. I don't mine talking to them, that's more business! But one of the employees from one of the carriers said I should just send her a list of all my parts I have on hand every day. Although I could do that with reports, that would be kinda challenging every day or so.

  4. Custom appointment type with custom email Template, Add email Template for Custom appointment types

    Having custom appointment types is great. It would be much more powerful and useful if we could have an email template that would work with these custom appointment types so you could have custom text for each custom appointment.

    Like a sales appointment vs. an on-site visit. Or a sales visit vs. a training session. Each could have it's own text that matched the purpose of the appointment type.

  5. Correct rotation of signature sections on IOS.

    We use an iPad in the Square stand in our shop, along side a traditional computer. Today, working with my son and daughter, I discovered a frustration they were having on using the iOS app. Specifically, there are a couple of times when the app changes to portrait mode and makes the signature panel completely unusable.

    This occurs up on creation of a ticket when the customer is asked to sign, or on accepting a payment (not CC) when it goes to the signature panel.

    Square intergration for iOS and Android App in countries other than the US

    Unfortunately the Square integration for iOS and Android App only works if you are in the US. What about the rest of us who are not in the US?

    This shouldn't be that hard to do. Square already has integration in Australia for Xero so the functionality must be already in Square it's just a matter of making Repairshopr do the same.

  7. Improve some of the older features

    There are a tremendous number of features offered in RS and the very core of them are fairly well rounded and fully implemented.

    There are also almost some other features that seem like they are do for some upgrades.

    There is tremendous potential in things like;
    - Ticket Automation
    - Widgets
    - Ticket
    - Worksheets
    - Stock tools
    - Reports
    - Templates
    - Custom fields
    - Website Integrations

    Many implementations could use some simple upgrades like:

    Since this suggestion is for multiple features, we can’t really manage it in uservoice like other suggestions.

    I’m inclined to just delete the post and have these individual items get their own post (so they can get votes/status updates/etc) – but it’s a hot issue so I’ll just mark is as completed and leave it.

    If you are considering commenting and adding another small thing you want us to fix before adding more new features, stop.

    Go submit a separate idea for it so it can get votes. That’s how this system works..

    Marking complete because we’ve heard you, and understand your desire. We are not going to prioritize these examples to be worked on immediately because that isn’t how our roadmap works – but it will be considered as we schedule future work. (as usual)

  8. Add Employee Clocked In/Out Notification

    It would be nice to get notification each time an employee clocks in or out. That way we know exactly when our employees are available to work when we are not in the office

  10. Account for travel time in calendar.

    it would be great to have travel time calculated between appointments and have that time "ear-marked" as part of that appointment.

    Say you have an appointment from 12-1 and the calculated time from that appointment to the next is 1 hour, it would make the appointment at 2-3 show 1-3 in our calendar, but 2-3 to the customer.

    Too many times have I had my employee's schedule back to back appointments, and not account for 30+ minutes travel time.

  13. Alert For Overlapping Appointments

    An alert for when a tech is booked for 2 appointments at the same time would be very useful for us. Occasionally 2 appointments are booked at the same time by mistake, and generally isn't found until the appointment time. Sending a message alerting us to this mistake would be great. Thanks!

    This is what Assets are for. You can add as many as you like – and they have custom fields available too.

  16. Allow to search Product List by SKU

    Being able to search to input parts based off of SKU would be very helpful. Right now, if I enter a SKU into the search box under Product List, no results come up.

  20. Allow multi-techs

    Allow multiple techs to be assigned to a ticket. (We have a lot of tickets that 2 or more techs are assigned to, but only 1 person can receive a ticket status notification at a time.)
