This is really important for us.
Customer records have to be kept for a number of years for compliance purposes.
We have customers that have moved out of the area and we don't want to email them any longer.
It will also help us to determine which clients are active.
Very handy for network & hardware configs as they are customer centric not job centric information.

I have to copy and paste the details into a word processor because our cash book program doesn't do them at all.

I'd be really interest in this.
I have customers who end up with a lot of little jobs during a month but this doesn't happen every month.
It would be nice to clone a ticket on an ad-hoc basis.
