  1. Inventory Parts Assign to Cusomter

    It would be great if, when receiving inventory into stock, we could assign a particular line item to a customer, or the whole shipment (you used to be able to do this in Quickbooks).
    That way whenever you go to that customer in RS you would get a prompt saying something like "Hey these items have been received for this customer but haven't been invoiced out yet."

  2. Implement custom fields for customer phone numbers/emails

    It would help me tremendously to be able to categorize methods of contacts for customers and enter custom fields for each entry. Seems simple enough and would make a big difference for me

    As per title, please darken the widget headers on each page for easier reading.

  5. Add a 'Copy to' button or option from ticket notes when invoicing.

    We find ourselves doing a lot of copy and paste back and forth from the ticket notes to invoices. Some customers want to see a diagnosis etc on the invoice itself. We usually include a description of work performed also which is conveniently in our notes updated by the techs. Having a 'copy to' option would eliminate the need to copy/paste back and forth.

  6. Account Manager Field

    It would be nice if each Customer/Client had an indexed field "Account Manager". Also, it would be nice if the Clients could then be organized by "Account Manager".
    Currently I just added a custom field labeled "Account Manager", and made a drop down choice for each tech.

  7. make it easier for me to see if the estimate or invoice has been sent to the customer.

    I get the email, indicating that it was sent, but it doesn't say anywhere in the notes that the estimate was sent or the invoice was sent. That would be very helpful information.

  8. Change the time on the "Tech Hours Report" to actual minutes

    When we pull up the Tech Hours Report to review time spent on a job it shows it in hundreds which means you have to multiply that number by 60. It would be really cool if you could change this so it just reads in minutes and matches what we see in the Ticket Timer.

  9. visual limit on how many characters an inventory item name has

    Hi, is there a way to put a visual limit on how many characters an inventory item name has? If you use too many the labels on standard address labels print on seperate labels each time. This would save a lot of time during data entry.

  10. Set an end date for recurring invoices

    We set up yearly service contracts for clients. Many pay on a monthly basis, and have it auto-billed to their credit card. It would be tremendously helpful if we could tell the system to stop sending the invoice, and therefore auto-billing the customer, on a certain date, so we don't have to stay on top of that every time a contract changes/is dropped, and so on.

  11. Tool Bar NOT scroll with the page

    The tool bar with the icons for Customers, Tickets, Invoices, etc scrolls up, off of the screen as a form is filled in or a list is examined. To change to another section of RepairShopR, the user must scroll back up to the top of the page to get to the icons.

    If that tool bar were fixed so it does not scroll off of the screen, it would always be available fo th the next step.

  12. Integrate with HomeAdvisor & Thumbtack

    Add ability for system to automatically book/accept leads from HomeAdvisor & Thumbtack lead services. When a lead is accepted/received process the lead into the system as a 'new lead/contact' with the information submitted to the lead system.

  13. Warranty 1 Week

    Would it be possible to have warranties based on days, weeks, and/or months? We guarantee our service for 7 days. On the 7th day, we would like to give the customer or client a notification that today is the last day for our warranty.

  14. Allow to use custom fields on a "per field" basis.

    It's of no use for us, if we can't use all of the available custom fields in our own way. Instead of just printing a custom field table, we think we should be allowed to use each field as necessary.
    That would allow us to have the templates the way we need.

  15. Colour code vendors in inventory

    I use multiple vendors, so when I build a system for an estimate, it would be advantageous for me to be able to colour code the vendors so I can select the part from the correct vendor and get the whole system shipped as a single item (I build JIT and don't keep much inventory).

  17. Service descriptions

    When using the device wizard widget the costumer does not get any information about price, estimated time usage or any information at all.

    Why not take this software a step up and include servicedescription pages?

    When you choose your device in the wizard you would get redirected to a servicepage for "iPhone 5s" where all the available services is listed with descriptions and prices. And make the wizard able to take bookings on specific time and date.

  18. Different colours for the field jobs.

    I would like to be able to colour co-ordinate my calender depending on whether the field job is onsite or at a different location.
    Also to be able to colour code what type of job it is: repair, training, etc.

  19. Quoting system

    It would be great if there was a system in RS that allowed us to upload a PDF we create ourselves of a quote for whatever (new PC, server, Network solution etc etc) then give the customer a link to their portal where they can view this quote.
    Then when the customer wants to accept the quote have a screen where our terms and conditions can be listed and have the name / signature box showing, just like on invoices, tickets etc.
    Being able to upload our own PDFs means we can create the quotes to look like however we…

  20. Allow for the login screens to be more customizable beyond just adding our logo

    Would like to have the ability to make the login screen look and feel like our site... embed the code so to speak without all the excess.

    Currently looks very blah.
