RepairShopr HUD, Info-At-A-Glance, What am I looking at again?
I'd like to know how many times I've had to scroll back up to see what's going on when working on a ticket. Not to mention how many times I've had to erase a comment, change users (thanks for the quick switching PIN, great job, btw!), then repost the comment as myself because I didn't notice I was using someone else's account or I posted to the wrong ticket altogether.
Then... It dawned on me.
You know... It would sweet to have, at a glance, the ability to see:
1. What ticket number is being displayed
2. Who's ticket it is
3. What is the problem we're addressing?
4. What user is logged in (w/ ability to "fast-user switch")
Plans for the future:
Make this customizable where we can choose what to display on the HUD based on who's logged in. Different job roles require different information. Or better yet, have it to where there are different HUDs based on the section we're in ie. Tickets, Customers, Inventory, Parts, etc etc.
I think this would greatly increase usability and reduce entry errors too. What do you guys think?
It doesn't have to be large at all, maybe a 20 - 40 pixel bar docked across the bottom of the page with this information.
Hey all – we put something out there for beta testers, we’ll improve it over time – please continue to put feedback here on this one.
Soon to come, Pin switch login, put it on other pages, then in-app notifications will go there!

@clay - what OS/browser is it not showing up on? (only on ticket detail page right, that's all we've added it to..)

Something I've noticed, it doesn't seem to be appearing on all of our workstations... is there an off/on switch somewhere to turn this on or off?

My feedback:
Change left title to: MyCompany HUD
Add similar information to: Estimates, Invoices, Appointments, etc.Cheers!

Just got off the phone with Pamela and decided to give this idea a "nudge". Just to clairify things , please have a look at my photoshop'd example that I posted a link from my dropbox.

The "rendered" HUD bar is located at the bottom of the PNG.
Thanks!
