Appointments given a purpose for site-visit repairs.
RepairShopr is clearly built for in-shop repairs, however if I mention features that already exist; please school me in my errors. I dearly need to resolve the work flow process for site-visit repairs; as it is now, RepairShopr seems grossly inadequate for site-visits.
Appointments need to take on a roll; currently they are pointless. I will give them their purpose now;
1. Every appointment must show up under the customer record just as everything else does along with the notes added (under review as a suggestion back in September ‘14)
2. An appointment is a ticket without ‘status’ (no diagnosis, work approved, etc.) only notes
3. Uses will be for items like;
a. Monthly, Weekly Maintenance..etc. (tracks time against contract for that customer, for job costing)
b. Repair-Billable (This will be the billable ticket, converting to an invoice to be collected on-site or billed)
c. Repair-Non-Billable we call this the ‘rework’,(to return to a site to fix a probable that reoccurred)
d. Walk-through, on-site quote, meeting, or other (non-billable but a record of the event with notes that can be added and show up under the customer)
e. Drop-off or Pick-up
4. Appointments get scheduled to the calendar for road techs to complete, tickets can be scheduled as well but this can depend of each company’s workflow. In my company, I do not schedule in-shop repairs; it is first come first serve. (this will be my next request which focuses on the ticket ‘dashboard’ which is useless for me currently)
5. Appointments can also get converted to;
a. an in-shop ticket, for equipment that is brought back to shop for repair
b. invoices if needed(as mentioned in 3b)
We appreciate the feedback on this. I am closing this feedback out due to lack of votes from the community.

It would also be great if appointments would log change information when they are rescheduled and who did it.
We have an issue sometimes where someone will move an appointment but we don't know who did it and there is no record of who moved it.
