send appointment or field job reminders
It would be a great feature to have a email reminder sent to customers and the techs the day before their appointment that way they remember and can quickly reference their appointment etc. Sometimes we schedule a week or 2 out and it would be nice for the system to automatically provide a reminder after the confirmation email has been sent when the appointment/field job was created.

This is an MUST HAVE function that should have been included years ago. I constantly have clients ask me to send them a reminder email the day before of day of an appointment which is really hard to keep track of manually.
YES!!!! Being able to automatically send appointment/field services reminders to customers via email and/or text message the day before would absolutely be helpful!

I see this feature was submitted in 2014. Please make this happen soon. I've had 3 forgot appointments by clients in the past week. They really need reminders.

Yes please. This is great for what we call scheduled servicing, where we schedule clients in 6 month intervals. It would be great to remind the client via email say a week before the appointed service, to get them to remind them of the scheduled service
We just added notification to the Notification Center for letting techs know before appointments. We'll continue to evaluate this in terms of having something customer facing.
Did this ever pan out? It's a great idea.
