iOS App
I think an iOS app would be awesome. I especially like the idea of being able to look at admin stats and charts right on my iPhone.
We have an iOS app in the app store that has some basic functionality around looking customers, creating customers, and paying invoices. More functionality will be added on/around a monthly schedule. In the next few weeks we’ll have invoice edit-ability, then we’ll start on adding tickets!
Update: December 4, 2015
1.6 is out, it includes invoice create/edit.
Update: January 7th, 2016
Version 1.7 is out with strong offline support.
Version 1.8 will come in 4~ weeks with some bug fixes and performance improvements
:: Update March 1, 2016 ::
Version 1.8.1 was just released fixing the hanging after swiping a card
Version 2.0 will be next with Ticket support!
(estimated around mid-April)
:: Update March 31 2016 ::
We have internal betas with Tickets working, it should be a couple more weeks to get it submitted at this point. Just finalizing searches/custom fields/etc
:: Update April 13th 2016 ::
Version 2.0 just landed, it has the first version of our Tickets module. You can edit tickets, use the timer, etc – you can’t create tickets yet – coming soon.
Also coming soon is ticket charges.
:: Update May 17th 2016 :
Bug Fix just released, should fix 6s and 6s plus phones.
Also added ticket charges

Is there or will there be an ability to mark time as billiable for auto adding to invoices? Right now you can mark recorded time from the web and viewed whether it's marked as charge on the mobile but now where do I see where you can mark or unmark. This ability would really make it easier for Tech's to charge for their time in the field.

Has anyone had issues logging in to the app. Are there any setting in the system that need to be triggered for the app to work? I have loaded the app on several devices with the same results and can never get logged in.
Every time I login, the question about pushing notifications pops up and then when accept the notification, the app immediately shut down to start over and login again required.
Any thought?

We have a large retail section for our store, and the app doesn't seem to support POS module. Can you please add this functionality?

Id love to see some better terminal options for iOS such as the Linea Pro V6 sled or similar integrated barcode scanner / mag swipe, not sure if Vantiv would support this.

Currently the Terms are defaulted when creating a ticket. We have different terms for our IT service calls vs our mobile device repairs. Is there a way to pick the appropriate terms for the customer to sign when the service technician creates a service call ticket?

Just a note - fixed 6s and 6s plus issues - also fixed "non admins unable to make payments".

Great Job on the iPhone app so far I know you guys just released it not too long ago.
Just wanted to mention that on iPhone 6s plus when I go to customers i have to tap on a customer two or three times before it opens which I believe is caused by the app constantly trying to refresh customer list I say that because I see a loading circle on top and below client list.
Workaround is to open client by tapping and holding for about 2sec which then opens the client just fine or you can also search for client and than it will work fine when you tap to open on the result screen.
Just wanted to throw it out there so you can take a look and possibly resolve with next update.
Thanks,

Hey gang! I have been using the app to record payments but the batch I entered last week apparently didn't register. They were successfully recorded in the app but when I did statements this week I found that none of the payments had been applied. Applying payments worked prior to version 2.0.

Amazing! What a transformation from the mobile web version - a few extra functions now and it will be absolutely perfect. We are ditching the timer service we subscribe to since the timing in the app does everything we need.

New Tickets will be in version 2.1
Worksheets will be 2.2
Ticket Charges will be 2.3
We anticipate just a couple weeks between each of these next couple releases.
Hope that helps!

I was able to add photos from my iPhone via the app. That is awesome. Now what is time frame to create tickets?

Brilliant to view tickets on new release and be able to make changes to status etc.
For us, the ability to use Worksheets needs to be integrated, otherwise it forces us to use the web version.
Adding in the invoicing etc in due course will naturally be great. Loving it

I'm seeing issues on the customer screen when scrolling and trying to select a customer. It keeps popping back to the top and when clicking it only flashes. If I use the search to find a customer I can select just fine and have all details.

@karen - the app probably won't have a different version for iPad, maybe we'll have some additional views. Nothing planned right now.
The app with Ticketing support is coming shortly, it will be a first step toward full ticketing - but no ticket-create, just edit.
(released in next week or two probably)
Barcode scanning for iOS - you can get a socket7 with a button to toggle you between scan mode and keyboard mode - it's not super streamlined. (iOS OS design)
Printing - you would need a windows print server on the network to hook up to cloudprint, then all your devices can print just like the desktop mode

We are trialling the desktop and the iPad version of the sites. We look forward to the iPad version of the app as this is what we would like to base our entire POS and technician system on rather than clunky computers everywhere.
Just a question, however, will the iPad be able to support barcode scanners wirelessly? Also, wireless support is possible via bluetooth to a thermal printer, but will it be available via the POS in the app?

The app is supporting Vantiv for now, it works in the U.S. We are going to have EMV shortly - also for Vantiv (U.S.). We haven't found a partner for elsewhere in the world quite yet, we need a gateway that handles EMV with a device that is simple to integrate - that isn't a POS app.
Let us know if you know a good candidate!
