Customer referral rewards

I was adding in a referral for a customer and thought it would be nice to have a counter on the referrer's customer page to see how many people they have referred to you. This way you can have rewards for loyal customers who spread the word around. Maybe have a system where after 10 referrals they get sent an automatic email giving them a coupon to print out. Something to keep customers coming back and telling others.

    It's really a shame this hasn't gotten as much traction as it deserves. I like to offer double-sided referral discounts, similar to how Uber/Lyft do things, to encourage word of mouth.
    With current systems this is a bit clunky and adds a fair amount of legwork on the admin side of things.

    I'm thinking the same thing. Sadly it doesn't look like it's getting much traction.

    I would like to see an auto email sent out when a new customer is added to the referring customer saying thankyou.

    Then a rewards system too. After 5 or 10 (configurable) referrals, email them and add an amount of pre paid hours to thier account, or a discount percentage for thier next invoice.

    This would be great. I was just looking at the Marketr module hoping it was possible to choose the referred by field as a sender. If there was a counter function to send to the customer after so many referrals come through. or just a way to send an auto emailer /snail mailer to that specific customer Thanking them and explaining the mailer process?
