Complete RepairShopr Backup
I would like a way to backup everything in RepairShopr. Automatically (say - to something like DropBox).
There are so many scenarios (accidental deletion, RepairShopr glitch, disgruntled employee, etc) where it would be incredibly valuable to have regular and multiple versions of the data in RepairShopr.
The invoice, estimates, templates, tickets, reminders, calendar data, worksheets, inventory, customers, internal wiki data, customer wiki data, attachments, time clock, custom contact fields, etc - are all things that took a large amount of time to enter and develop over time. I know there are some exporting functions, but there is nothing like having that whole process automated for piece of mind (especially when I spend my whole day lecturing my customers on having automated backups and their importance) ....
We added a paid add on for this – it’s in the app center.
It costs money due to the high server load and disk space usage.

NOTE: This feature DOES NOT BACK UP EVERYTHING...It simply puts a CSV export of your tickets, assets, customers, contacts, purchase orders, and wiki pages in your dropbox. It does not back up the general settings of the account like templates, saved searches, campaigns, canned messages, custom lists, worksheets, etc...all stuff that takes A LOT of time to create. Troy, Robert, please take note that the current premium solutions are not acceptable. You NEED to find a way to allow us to create COMPLETE backups of our accounts. Stuff happens, and your customers need to know that they can recover from a disaster.

Thanks, just one thing, we hired google drive, it would be possible to add this option to make backups.

I need this because I just happened for some reason the categories assigned in the editor category accidentally got deleted or erased, and sug-categories are not saved me as such and become main categories, now with this solution could restore information if I get to lose ?, as it could do if it were a desktop system ?,
Is there any way that the backup is created in the city we want, Droxbox, Google drive, local computer, but that it can be restored if we at any time from the backup?
In our case no matter whether it is paid or not, the RS system information is priceless.

I agree it can be an identified collection of data sets to simplify backup of our key data bases, simplifying the existing requirement to manually export each data set as a csv
