Refunds through Authorize.net
This has been working for a long time.

Was mentioned below but will mention again that in our experience with Authorize.net you have to wait 24 hours from the time of the original transaction to be able to return it. This gives Authorize.net enough time to get the funds into your account so that you can actually refund it to the customer.

Yup... still not able to do refunds. I sent troy an email with my RS screenshot so you guys could take a look at it for me.

Also, keep in mind the transaction needs to have been batched out for a refund to work. We found this out when trying to do a refund of a transaction the same day we charged the card. You have to use the void button instead for transactions you want to refund from the same day.

@Clay: This has been live and working for about 6 months. You must have some settings wrong in your Auth.net settings page in RS. Maybe screenshot those and email to help@ so one of the RS team members can tell you what needs to be changed. Otherwise, you may need to make sure your Auth.net account supports refunds via the API. Our did automatically, but you may need to verify.

We really need to be able to issue refunds through authorize.net. I'm grateful that we can take payments (even on a recurring basis) and I know it's not easy to deal with the APIs. But we really... really... really need to be able to account for and give refunds through auth.net. I don't like giving money back as much as the next guy but sometimes it's gotta happen. Can we at least put this on the 6 months radar?
