Own sms provider
We currently use SMS Global as our SMS provider, and rather than invest more dollars in other SMS provider/credits, can the feature to allow 3rd party SMS providers be integrated with RS. I know SMS Global has an API.
We have now integrated with Twilio.

Other thing that would be neat, would be to have it integrated with the Repairshopr mobile app instead. That would be awesome - most SIMs have unlimited SMS these days.

Twilio would be a great integration for this. Been using them for years now.

How many SMS are allowed, we have been testing as we are new to software, and we have used 100% of monthly total

Red Oxygen also has one. is difficult when clients here in australia have to text a USA number to reply - very expensive

Yes, agreed. We were never able to get Clickatell to work with our own numbers, despite their insistence that it should work. We finally requested a refund and that's taken 2 months.

Fully agree, very pricey option on sms, just started implementing it, but could easily see this costing me some doe for something I already pay for anyway, and my current one has very little limitations, so much more affordable. Definitely Interested in custom API for SMS.
Thanks.

Please make this happen. We too struggle with the Cickatell prices, we believe it's way too expensive for Non-American customers.

We would like for this feature to be opened up to other providers as well. The featured SMS provider has not been very reliable, and has been consistently failing with numerous status error message not related to RepairShopr. Their support has also not been very well, but we have no choice but to stick with them. A lot of time and money has been wasted with the constant trouble shooting with status "X" errors.
Please consider opening up this feature. If we need to pay an additional fee at a reasonable rate, we'd be fine with that.
