  1. Would like a recommendation on a phone system that connect with RepairShopR (VOIP) that can we a send an automated text message to client

    voip phone that connects with RepairShopR. Once the number is identified we could instanly tell if they are an existing customer or a new customer. If they are new we could send a canned SMS to the cell phone with our contact information. iCracked does something like this on the SMS marketing.

  2. Inventory pictures (without woo!)

    I would LOVE to have pictures of my products in my inventory, and I loved how it was executed with the woo commerce support.

    BUT.

    Woo commerce is the devil, in my humble opinion, and I have gone a different direction. In doing so, I now have no lovely pictures of my inventory. So how about giving those of us who are anti-woo the same capabilities as those who are willing to bow at the altar of woo?

    ...And it would be even more lovely if we could get those pictures in thumbnail form on the POS buttons.

  3. useful RMM info in Messages list

    The "New RMM Alert Created! An Alert was created fo..." (for Watchman, in Messages) is overly wordy, and cuts off before useful info (which Group/Customer) is displayed. Would be more handy to be able to eyeball this quickly! Thanks...

  4. Make Ticket Worksheets editable

    Whenever I have to add an answer to a dropdown field in a worksheet, instead of being able to add an answer, like in ticket assets, I have to recreate the entire field. This is tedious and causes errors.

  6. Tracking shipments/Parts

    Hi

    The tracking feature is useless and really needs to be fixed. You say when you search the tracking # it opens up a google search. What is the point of this??
    You should be able to add a direct URL in manually, and then when you click on that link you put in..it will take you to the actual website (for example, DHL) and you can view the status of the shipment. Right now, if I input my DHL tracking #…it opens up a google search and gives me random searches for misc crap like Flickr pages.

    You are right, it didn’t matter for USA folks because fedex/ups (99% of the market) use tracking numbers that are detected by google – where DHL tracking numbers are not possible to auto-detect so nobody has a good automated solution.

    Now if you enter a URL into that field we’ll link to that instead of google.

  7. Autoprintr suggestion

    Hi guys,

    Here's a quick note about Multi-store operations and how the current Cloud Print service works;

    When Store A makes an invoice, and Store B presses "Print", it will print to Store A, even though Store B pressed print.

    I would love to see an option where, in AutoPrintr, no matter which store makes the invoice, whichever store requests the print, gets the print.

    I would also suggest that for Dymo labels, if possible.

  8. Please include Customer's Mobile Number on Asset Label

    When the Asset Label prints we adhere it to the asset and if it's a phone or tablet for example we place it in a plastic bin and adhere the ticket label on the outside of the plastic bin. It would be very helpful to include the customer's number on the asset label. It would help us know the number to call when it's ready for pickup plus it would incline the customer to leave the label on their device if it has their contact information.

  9. Add Location to Ticket Automation Conditions

    We'd like to see ticket location as a condition option on ticket automations. We have a slack channel for each location and would like to setup a notification to go to the room for a specific shop when a ticket hasn't been updated in 24 hours.

  10. AutoPrintr Duplex

    AutoPrintr does not support duplex printing.

    We like to give our customers one piece of paper, the invoice on the front and all the ticket notes on the back. This saves a lot of paper.

    We tried overriding on a Brother printer by setting duplex to on in the preferences. We also tried the duplex override via the web interface.

    This lil app is fantastic! We now instantly get the forms we always print without any extra hassle. (And manually printing the forms has always been a 1-2 minute hassle with cloudprint)

    Being able to search to input parts based off of SKU would be very helpful. Right now, if I enter a SKU into the search box under Product List, no results come up.

    This is what Assets are for. You can add as many as you like – and they have custom fields available too.

    It would be great to include the vendor PO# on the product bar code label. This would help in processing RMAs by giving the vendor purchase details.

  15. Stock inventory website integration widget

    So I have people from around town, usually people from phone carriers that I've befriended calling at least once a day and asking if I have parts on hand so they can send me a customer. I don't mine talking to them, that's more business! But one of the employees from one of the carriers said I should just send her a list of all my parts I have on hand every day. Although I could do that with reports, that would be kinda challenging every day or so.

  16. Schedule appointments for longer than 8 hours

    We sometimes have big projects that take place over the course of a couple days. It would be nice to be able to schedule one appointment for the entire project, as opposed to a new appointment for each day.

  17. Importing Tickets

    I have been subscribing to RS for nine months but am still struggling to go live and make the switch from my current system. I need to ensure RS can do everything I need - or else be confident I have a satisfactory workaround before I go live. RS has some great features and major benefits but also some worrying flaws or omissions (albeit relatively minor) which I must be confident can somehow be resolved and tested in order to pull the plug on the old system.

    It is extremely reassuring to see that I can export ticket data to…

    Our tech support can do this for you – no problem! The tool isn’t very user-friendly at the moment so we’re keeping it internal.

  20. Editable field on worksheets

    We use worksheets to do assessment on computers. Sometimes a single ticket will have more than one computer, so it would be nice to have an editable field that we can label each worksheet to identify individual computers.
