  1. Customer Online Portal

    While I think it is great to have a customer facing portal for them to be able to view the current status of their tickets and invoices, I do not think it is such a wise idea to put the computer passwords here. We should keep that field as an option in the tickets so we are able to get into the customers computer to service it.   2. Remove Individual Name when business client.

    Make so at the customer creation screen, you can select if its a business or individual. If its a business do not require a First/Last name of a person.

    As it is now it requires the first/last and then that name appears on everything in the system. I don't want an individual name to appear on anything when it is a commercial client. That includes any labels, invoices, estimates, Tickets, etc.

  4. Dollar Values in Cash Register Out/In

    It would be nice if the cash out and in for the registers would show a total (Ie: $0.25 | 4 | $1.00 on the quarters line). Also a line at the end for checks would be great.

  6. Create field job from ticket

    I would like to be able to create a field job directly from a ticket page. All of my appointments are field appointments, and my workflow goes: create customer -> create ticket -> create field job.

  7. Multiple tickets added to one invoice

    I think the ability to add multiple tickets to one invoice would be great. That way we can have a running tally of closed tickets and bill once at the end of the month

  8. Report: Invoice Aging

    Is it possible to add a column(s) that shows what has been paid and what is due? Some customers make down payments, or we allow a payment plan. Thank you!!!

  9. browser tab headings

    when opening a tab in the browser in repair shopr the tab should have a title. For example if i open a ticket the ticket tab that just opened should have a title with the customers name on it. This is handy when working with multiple tickets as it allows us to arrange tickets in order of priority.

  10. canned responses bug

    There is a bug on the canned responses... recreate it like this.

    1. go to a ticket
    2. start to type a response to a customer
    3. backspace that response back to nothing
    4. try to add a canned response

    You can refresh the page then add it but it is just a little big you should know about.

  11. Admin has full control to modify dates on Tickets, Invoices, Payments, etc...

    Coming from (other software) I am really used to having full control for everything as an admin. One very important feature that is missing right now is the ability to choose or modify the date for Tickets, Invoices, Payments, etc...

    I would like to be able to have this as an admin only option or the ability to control who can modify dates. (User permissions might also be a good idea?)

  12. Need Part number/SKU

    For the parts table, an sku/part number is helpful in identifying the "exact part" in addition to the descriptive name field rather than having to use one field for both values. Which is what I am having to do currently.
    When I contact my vendors I always order by the part number.

    This is live! We don’t currently have a CSV import method but will be looking at that down the road since structuring the data in a clear way is challenging with CSV’s for this.

  13. layout

    every time i edit a line it refreshes and everything moves around and ends up in the same spot. it wastes time a second or two every click. interface should stay steady like in quickbooks.

    as in quickbooks, you dont have to click save every time you edit a line... and when selecting from the dropdown you should also use the dropdown within the line items as in quickbooks, much easier and faster, also enable to remove tax after creating the line with the tax checked.

  15. IP Whitelist

    this feature is to whitelist a certain IP or IP ranges to access Repairshopr.

    troy has implemented the time clock in/out. it's very good, except that it can be accessible by anyone with internet (even when they are not in my premises)

    the function of the IP whitelist is so that my staffs can clock in/out when they are in my premises only.

  16. Automatic reminders for the admin/tech

    When I create a new customer I setup reminders to email at 3 days just to fu and again at 5. Would love if we could customize this for our business.

    Also when I have invoiced I set a reminder to fu a few times and to remind myself to send an email about storage fees and so on if it goes unpaid too long. Would live it if these could auto send and/or remind. Thoughts...?

  17. Integrate with Stripe payment processing

    Just like how OTHERS have, I think it would be great if you could integrate with the simplified payment processor Stripe. This could not only drive more sales for your product but I am sure it will help a lot of us as your customers and simplify us not having to use the two systems side by side.

  18. Seperate Contacts under a customer (i.e. multiple people from the same business)

    We have several companies we work with, but we deal with their employees directly when they have issues.

    I think you should have the ability to add multiple contacts under the same company. Ideally the way this would work best for us, would be when creating a new ticket under CompanyABC there should be a drop down box specifying which contact you would like to use (or being able to add a new one). The contact would only need a separate Name, Phone Number, and e-mail field, but the address and such would pull from the company.

    This is now live for all users! You can turn this on by clicking “Enable Multiple Contacts” in Admin Settings. You will then find a “Contacts” section on the Customer Detail screen where you can add multiple contacts. These contacts can be selected when you create a new ticket.

  19. Using Token Placeholder in MarketR

    Hi Troy,

    The MarketR integration is great.
    But i think if you can a lil more functionality to it will be great.

    One feature i'm looking for is token placeholder.

    For example, we could use
    Hi {%FIRST_NAME%}, and replace it with customer names.

    Cuz for the time being, i'm using mostly hi there, which addresses general public instead of feeling more personal with my clients.

    I hope this feature can be added soon.

  20. VAT and payment options

    Hi Guys

    I know that in the US prices are quoted VAT exclusive but in Australia we Quote prices to customers as VAT inclusive. Our parts resellers (suppliers) will quote prices VAT exclusive but in general we always quote VAT inclusive to our shop customers.

    After fully using the system for a whole 3 days I anticipate that i will definitely need to have some options for listing prices (cost price and Retail prices) as either VAT on or VAT off. That's not to say that our services and parts we buy and sell wont include VAT because all our…
